Wow when you see it all written down (and there are probably lots more) you gotta ask yourself...........why are the MCanns still free? Why havent they been arrested etc and so on.

Clarence Mitchell, giving up a well paid job and good pension to take on a PR job that might last only a few days!

Though I have followed the case closely, everytime i come to this site i seem to learn more strange things.

Now I did not know Kate ultimately dumped cuddlecat. This makes no sense at all. My daughters are now grown up but we still have their cuddlecat equivalents - these old cuddly admittedly are now in our spare room and don't get much love but there is no way wither my husband, myself or our girls would give them away as they represent important memories. How could a grieving mother of a missing child throw out the cuddly that meant so much to her child?

I did not know that Amarals' gog was killed - any details of this?

Mitchell and John McCann 'gave up jobs' for the uncertainty of the Madeleine Campaign. could they possibly have taken unpaid leave/career breaks/been seconded and it was assumed they resigned. if they resigned it is indeed strange.

Why are these people still free to peddle their lies?

I develop websites - I imagine that they have just bought an existing package off the shelf and adapted it. So it's not particularly sinister but doesn't look very professional, and wouldn't take long to change.

With all the money and advisers of all kinds you would think they would have had a website designed for them. As you say, it would be easy enough to amend an off the shelf package, so if they bought a package, why didn't they amend it?

Is there any way of telling if it is an off the shelf package? This is a crucial point because if this website was started by them in 2006 then the whole thing is an elaborate scam.

The website date intrigues me and, though I accept from a previous reply that it could have no significance, I would also like to know whether a computer expert could say exactly when the site was set up. We're now also learning that Madeleine's eye defect may never have existed and served no purpose other than to send everyone on a wild goose chase. If this is true, the implications of how many people are involved are staggering - all the McCanns' friends, neighbours, relatives, doctors and priests would have known that Madeleine did not have this condition and yet they went along with the story.

You can search online and find out when a site was set up.

Type into Google "whois" search. Go to one of the sites offering it, type in the domain and it should give you access to the date it was set up and who set it up, unless they have selected a "whois optout" at the time of registering the site. In which case you won't see it.

Many thanks ME. The site I looked at gives 10th May 2007 as the date when the record was first created. How "grieving parents" could have come up with the idea of setting up a commercial enterprise within a week of the disappearance of their daughter is another matter that's been debated before but we now know that the 2006 date is just an error.

There is only one other explanation for Maddies eye if she was not born with the coloboma then it would have to be the result of a eye injury the mccanns know the answer

Just wondering Team McCann are masters of spin so did they feel it better for their close family image for him to 'resign' rather than do the practical thing of taking unpaid leave? And I wonder did his wife have a job? Or was his job coming to an end anyway. We really cannot believe what Team McCann says unless verified from an independent source.

Does anyone know what John McCann has been doing since last August when he resigned as a director of the fund?
