Here we go again, a girl’s going viral on TikTok because she thinks she’s Madeleine McCann

Yet again, a girl is going viral on TikTok because she thinks she’s missing child, Madeleine McCann. Madeleine went missing in Portugal in 2007, and since then loads of girls have gone online and said they think they could be her.

Last night, another young girl went on Instagram and did a live showing “evidence” of how she thinks she could be the missing girl, and people are saying that she wants the police to investigate.

In the video, which is now being shared on TikTok, the girl says she is 21-years-old but isn’t sure of her real identity or age. She claims she has similar spots on her body to Madeleine, who had a spot on her leg. The girl shows the marks on her body in the video, which has now been viewed nearly a million times.

In the video she is clearly reading out questions as they come in on the live, and she is asked when she first started thinking she might have been Madeleine McCann. “A few months ago,” she says. “It was something that I heard from my grandma.” She goes on to say she tried to get a copy of her birth certificate, but she could only get told information about herself over the phone.




At the end of the TikTok video, it urges people to go to the Instagram account of the girl in question – which is @iammadeleinemcan. The profile currently has over 15k followers, and the bio reads: “Help me, I need to talk with Kate and Gerry McCann I think I can be Madeleine. I need DNA test. Police investigators from UK and Poland try to ignore me. I will tell my story in posts here. Help me.”





On this profile she has shared more “evidence” and pictures of her as a child. Her Instagram story right now contains lots of picture of her claiming she has the same eye colouring that Madeleine does. Madeleine McCann has a mark of the extremely rare condition coloboma in her right eye – meaning her eyes are slightly different colours.

This isn’t the first time people have gone online claiming they’re Madeleine. In 2019 a whole bunch of girls went on TikTok and said they think they are, and in 2017 a student went viral saying she too had evidence that pointed towards her being the missing child.

this one is the polish version a certain julia faustyna, the richards one was from the southern parts of the usa. 

it looks to be madeleine mccann is to become the female version of napoleon. and it must be still to early for the reborn ones.

shame, a lot of the young ladies could not think of something better to get attention, but it is in most countries a lot cheaper to play the fool, than mental help. a new group of victims, all made possible because some adult people could not tell the truth. 

at least the star reporters of the tabloids have a easy day, they already have a piece that just could be updated.

Isn't that the wrong eye, Madeleine had a coloboma in her right eye not the left.

Yes! She looks drunk to me, eyes half closed, but Madeleine's coloboma was is her right eye.

Has the Olive Press picked it up ?

Unlikely, because they Clarke is convinced that Brückner did IT, whatever that is, and that IT included murdering her, for whatever reason

A young woman has emerged on Instagram claiming she is missing British girl Madeleine McCann.

The bizarre video emerged in recent days of a German woman who claims she "could be Madeleine McCann" and has since gone viral with many re-shares, including on TikTok.

Madeleine disappeared from her holiday apartment in Praia da Luz in Portugal’s Algarve in 2007, when she was four years old.

She has never been found but, in recent years, TikTok users have gone viral with their uncanny resemblance to the youngster.

And another woman has hopped on the bandwagon with her unsubstantiated claims.

The woman, who posts on her Instagram account @iammadeleinemcann, explained that she started to think she could be the missing youngster "a few months ago".



"It was something that I heard from my grandma," she added.

The young woman, from Germany, says she is 21 but believes her age could be wrong.

She also claims she has a freckle on her legs and a speck in her eye in the same places as Madeleine.

The woman has become so convinced that she is Madeleine, that she says she wants to get a DNA test to prove her claims.

Her Instagram bio said: “Help me, I need to talk with Kate and Gerry McCann I think I can be Madeleine. I need DNA test.

"Police investigators from UK and Poland try to ignore me. I will tell my story in posts here. Help me.”

The unnamed woman's evidence is weak at best, but has still gained a legion of more than 25,000 followers on Instagram with her updates.

Back in 2021, a TikToker, who is also called Maddie by coincidence, also hit headlines when she shared footage of herself after being told by friends and family about her uncanny appearance.

In the video the influencer posted, she showed a picture of the little Madeleine she found online before sharing her passport photo taken roughly around the same age as the missing girl.

She appeared to have similar hairstyle with bangs covering the forehead, green eyes and an oval face.

Not funny, not clever, not helpful.

Whatever your thoughts about Gerry and Kate McCann and whilst some might think this all a good jolly jape, at the end of the day there are others to consider.

Like two other children and the many friends and relatives that will be directly affected.

Stupid stupid people - I despair.

She looks nothing like Madeleine, the photo's of this German woman as a child look nothing like Madeleine.

That's why I posted that particular video, I've never seen those images before.

I know she said this revelation was something to with her grandmother (?) but it's taken a long time for her to 'think' she 'might' be Madeleine McCann.

A little family scam methinks.

ETA: I'm waiting for confirmation of her nationality, so far she's German and Polish - depending which version of the truth you care to read.

The revelation (if true) her Grandmother is married to Martin Ney's Father was interesting.

A Polish woman who started an online campaign to prove that she is Madeleine McCann says she has "evidence" to back up her claims.

The TikTok user, @iammadeleinemcann, has gained 17,000 followers on the app and has also made an Instagram account. Despite the woman's age being 21, she says that there could be a mistake, as Madeleine would now be 19-years-old.

The claims made by the woman has recently gone viral as she adds that she first made the discovery "a few months ago" after hearing something from her grandma.

The woman has even gone as far as to say she is willing to provide a DNA sample. Her Instagram account, which has gained 200,000 followers, says: "I think I can be Madeleine. I need a DNA test.

"Police investigators from UK and Poland try to ignore me. I will tell my story in posts here. Help me."

In a post published yesterday, the woman even claimed she talked to someone who claimed to be Madeleine's cousin and told her she could "have a possibility" to talk to Kate and Gerry McCann to arrange a DNA test.

These claims have not been addressed by Madeleine's family.

Answering questions she was asked by some followers, the unnamed woman said she does not remember being taken away and has no recollection of most details of her childhood.

She said: "I don't remember being taken away. I mean, I don't remember almost my entire childhood."

Despite investigators insisting that Brueckner is behind the abduction of Madeleine, they are yet to charge the individual due to a lack of evidence. They have begun re-interviewing Brueckner's friends and associates in a bid to crack the case once and for all.

A woman who claims she may be Madeleine McCann has showed two pieces of "evidence" that, according to her, prove she is the missing girl.

Julia Wandelt, 21, went viral earlier this week after posting on social media, claiming that she is Madeleine, who d­isappeared in May 2007

Julia, from Poland, claims to have a freckle on her leg and a speck in her eye in the same places as the British girl. as well as ­looking similar to parents Kate and Gerry.

She now claims that missing girl’s family have asked her to take a DNA test.

A source close to the McCanns said: “The family are taking no chances, they are willing to look at all leads. It is important they look at all of the factors, the girl does look similar. There’s no disputing that.

“If what she says is true, there is every chance it could be her. It all adds up.”

It is believed a McCann family member has come forward to offer to take part in a DNA test.

Julia hopes to make direct contact with the parents of Madeleine, who vanished age three, in the coming days.

The McCanns were ­approached by the Sunday Mirror for comment.

Julia created an Instagram account named @iammadeleinemcann earlier this week, and the profile has now gained more than 370,000 followers.

She said she started wondering if she was Madeleine "a few months ago" after hearing "something" from her grandma.

While she says she is 21 years, Julia believes her age could be wrong. Madeleine was born in May 2003, meaning that she would now be 19.

Her Instagram bio says: "I think I can be Madeleine. I need DNA test.

In a post published on Friday, the woman claimed she talked to someone who claimed to be Madeleine's cousin and told her she could "have a possibility" to talk to Kate and Gerry McCann to arrange a DNA test.

Madeleine was just four years old when she disappeared from her holiday apartment while on holiday in Praia da Luz in Portugal in 2007.

Mystery has surrounded the search for Madeleine in recent years but no trace of her has ever been found.
