Re: A Day with Crime Podcast: The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann
Father and daughter David and Geneva McClam discuss cases old and new and give you their take on it. Hear true crime like you have never heard it before.
We have heard it before. The podcasts consist of the daughter reading out the Wikipedia page on the Disappearance of Madeleine McCann, breaking for occasional thoughts and discussion with her father, who plays Devil's advocate. She gives her own best commentary (at 1:05:10) with a yawn.
All the prejudices and misconceptions one would expect from this approach are aired, no doubt in good faith. "Even though we do extensive research ... Wikipedia lays it all out a little bit better than we could ourselves." TM would be proud.
It is worth a listen, if only to appreciate how those with no knowledge of the case can be made to adopt the Narrative of Negligence, when they base their research on Wikipedia and Netflix: "I'm confused over the entire thing. Hopefully, it pans out somewhere."
