Competition for jobs here is fierce, especially in the computer industry where I work.
A few years ago there might be 20 people going for the same job, but now it's literally hundreds.
I have had two interviews in four months but quite often you don't even get a reply to your application.
I got a degree from University College Dublin, worked for a year and then went back to get a master's degree.
In 2008 when I left college you could walk into the job of your choice or literally take your pick.
I joined a small software engineering firm but about a year later rumours started circulating about the company.
The pay was late one month and at the end of November 2009 we were told the bad news - we were given our marching orders. I had to cut down on my spending straight away.
I signed on the day after I lost my job but I had to wait 14 weeks for any social welfare. The whole thing was a pretty harrowing experience.
Fortunately I don't have a mortgage or a family to look after. There are people who are worse off than me.
Dublin and Cork haven't been as badly affected as the Irish midlands, where loads of companies are going into receivership.
I have thought about emigrating to Australia but it's not like when people moved to America 30 years ago. There's no guarantee of a job over there.
I now live on 194 euros a week in benefits but I still have to pay off a student loan, which is about 250 euros a month. In fact I missed a payment last month.

Of course.

One does not know whether to laugh or be concerned for the mental health of such people. What drives them to speak in this way? Money?

Or is it a penance they feel they have to pay for the evil words they have written in the past? Surely they do not think their own comments would be forgotten by the Tapas 9? Their own words are examples of the crudest and most terrible accusations ever made against the parents.

Tony Bennett has never made any libellous accusations, but these people certainly have. Obviously none of these idiots were ever considered to have enough brains between them to be a threat to the Tapas 9, whereas Tony Bennett has certainly been seen as such. Most probably because he has had the sense to write letters to the authorities instead of screaming vitriole over the internet.

One assumes this preciousramotswe must post under other names, for one is unfamiliar with this one. One considers their words above to be most threatening towards Kangdang, and if anybody has any information on this poster, one would suggest that they pass it on to somebody through a third party to ensure their anonymity and safety. This is quite obviously a very disturbed person. Undoubtedly, yet another person whose job it is to make other people afraid to find out what really happened to Madeleine McCann.

1. Are they related in any way? - probably not
2. Are they part of a same ~~cult~~ club? - Possibly
3. Are they afraid because they have something to hide that may be exposed? - possibly
4. Are they being paid by a certain millionaire business man? - most likely since they cant find work anywhere else.

Kandang - how is Ian West`s photography business going? Any idea?

I thought Crazytony lived in the USA?

I remember in the early days of JATYK when they were on Nbrado's old 'Engineer' website, Cushty (from old 3As) making an amusing and harmless post about how Americans get their UK locations mixed up.
The Crazy One took it as a slur and went berserk, had a hissy fit and took down his blog. He later revived it with lots of bald eagles, stars and stripes and USA-patriotic posts.

Hmmm, funny you should ask that question as a friend and I were discussing this only the other day. It seems Ian West Photography has gone to ground. I have more to say on this subject of course but ever mindful of the all seeing eye [and the wretched crystal ball!] I shall opt to inform in an alternative way Wink
