Cold case detectives are still treating the death of a dad at Michael Barrymore’s home as murder.
Fifteen years after Stuart Lubbock’s body was found in the entertainer’s pool, officers have again called for information.
It comes after the Mirror revealed on Thursday that Barrymore has won a legal fight with police over his arrest on suspicion of murdering and raping Stuart.
After meeting a detective on Friday to discuss the latest developments, Stuart’s dad Terry , 71, said yesterday: “It means a lot that they still believe he was murdered.
“I feel the pendulum is swinging in my favour and we could get to the truth.
“I have always believed he was murdered. I have an image in my mind of Stuart saying, ‘Keep the ball rolling, Dad’.”

A police spokesman said: “The murder investigation remains open. We appeal to anyone with information to get in touch.” Stuart was found dead at Barrymore’s then home in Roydon, Essex, in 2001.
Stuart, 31, and others had attended an all-night party at the mansion. A postmortem found he had suffered severe internal injuries that suggested he was sexually assaulted.

The comedian began his legal battle against Essex police three years ago, saying there was no evidence of his involvement in the death so he should never have been arrested or held.
High Court papers signed this month show police now accept liability – suggesting they admit Barrymore, 64, was wrongfully arrested and detained. He is seeking substantial damages.

Nice to know the world hasn't gone completely mad.
So... officially... they think he was murdered at Barrymore's home but Barrymore knows nothing about the murder.
Is Barrymore no longer a suspect?

Re; Michael Barrymore,Stuart Lubbock
Sorry to use the Euphemism but perhaps Michael"Hopes to Strike it Lucky"against the Police and have any involvement in the Death of Mr Lubbock(jnr).
The Police Doctors has very dubious accounts as to the Injuries,Stuart's body had prior to his Death and who administered the Physical injuries to him,was this the work of a single person or did he have assistance?
Did Mr Barrymore wait for the Police to arrive and assist with their Inquiries,or was he out of the scene of the crime sharpish?
It should be noted that if Mr Barrymore is to receive compensation against the Police, that it be noted of how he(Michael) had assisted the Police Investigation into Mr Lubbock's Death or Not?
Mr Barrymore has had assistance from his Celeb friends to restart his career"Big Brother anyone"?
What people need to Remember is a Person has died through injuries to his body and not lost a"Glittering career"not his life?
