If Suarez had done that to Harry Cripps in 1965 he would have got his legs broke and the ref would have played on.
Anything less and the crowd would have been on the pitch and sorted it in the traditional way.

Isnt biting people what girls used to do in the playground ?

That Italy player was pretending to cry !

Pathetic is what it is.

It's reminded me of Norman 'bites yer legs' Hunter (except he didn't bite anyone). There's tackling hard and there's biting someone innit.

Ban Suarez and make him wear a gum shield or a Hanibal Lecter mask each time he plays in future. It's not his fault that his teeth unfortunately find themselves in the wrong place.  titter

The Uruguayans reckon the Italian player should shoulder some of the blame.   big grin

News just in. While Adidas and other sponsors of Suarez are threatening to end their deals with him, Colgate, UltraBrite, and Sensodyne are ready to step in with multi-million pound deals.   laughat

Brendan Rodgers is already making plans for a comic-book style front two at Liverpool next season by enticing Denis Bergkamp out of retirement to partner Luis Suarez.
They will be known as Denis the Menace and Gnasher.    soz

There's some good pictures of the 'Cannibal' out there but i cant seem to post them at the moment.

The big game today is USA v Germany.

We should be able to see just how good the Germans are as USA are well organised and will be no pushovers.

A Draw wouldnt surprise me !

Got a funny feeling about Belgium. They are winning their games without hitting any heights or looking like conceding; they remind me a lot of France in 1998. Add in that Eden Hazard is, I think, the most gifted player I've ever seen in real life (and that's saying something) and he hasn't really got started in this tournament yet then I think they're in with a good chance.

I'm rather worried it might be Germany - NL at some stage. i don't quite know how they seed the winners of round one, whether they stay in groups or whether each team is ranked in one list and the usual 1 against 16 and 2 against 15 and so on.

I think he should be banned for life or forced to wear a muzzle when he plays.  An absolute disgrace.   What sort of example is this to set to his own children let alone millions of others world wide.

It is deep in the Uruguayan psyche !!

Post by PeterMac on 26.06.14 22:39

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1972_Andes_flight_disaster
Uruguayan Air Force Flight 571, also known as the Andes flight disaster and, in South America, as the Miracle of the Andes (El Milagro de los Andes) was a chartered flight carrying 45 people, including a rugby union team, their friends, family and associates, that crashed in the Andes on 13 October 1972. More than a quarter of the passengers died in the crash and several others quickly succumbed to cold and injury. Of the 27 who were alive a few days after the accident, another eight were killed by an avalanche that swept over their shelter in the wreckage. The last 16 survivors were rescued on 23 December 1972, more than two months after the crash.

The survivors had little food and no source of heat in the harsh conditions at over 3,600 metres (11,800 ft) altitude. Faced with starvation and radio news reports that the search for them had been abandoned, the survivors fed on the dead passengers who had been preserved in the snow. Rescuers did not learn of the survivors until 72 days after the crash when passengers Nando Parrado and Roberto Canessa, after a 10-day trek across the Andes, found Chilean arriero Sergio Catalán,[1] who gave them food and then alerted authorities about the existence of the other survivors.

Post by Doug D on 01.07.14 6:36

‘suffered the physical result of a bite in the collision he suffered with me,’!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WTF?

Pinkie got a new job????

Luis Suarez bite: 'I lost my balance and fell on Chiellini'

‘Uruguay's Luis Suarez insists he lost his balance and did not bite Italy's Giorgio Chiellini at the World Cup.’

Luis Suarez sorry for Chiellini bite at World Cup 2014

‘Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has apologised to Giorgio Chiellini for the bite that earned him a nine-match and four-month ban from football.
The Uruguay forward, 27, was suspended from all football for biting Italy's Chiellini in a World Cup match.
"The truth is that my colleague Giorgio Chiellini suffered the physical result of a bite in the collision he suffered with me," said Suarez in a statement.’

Blood and cadaver alerts
dismissed by UK Government

Retired DCI Gonçalo Amaral: "The English can always present the conclusions to which they themselves arrived in 2007. Because they know, they have the evidence of what happened - they don't need to investigate anything. All this is now a mere 'show off'."

Retired murder DCI Colin Sutton: "I would also like to make the point that Operation Grange was so restricted from the start as to be destined to fail."

Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley made public on national TV that Operation Grange is a complete fraud.

Ex-DCI Andy Redwood had a "revelation moment" on BBC's Crimewatch on 14th October 2013 when he announced that Operation Grange had eliminated the Tanner sighting - which opened up the 'window of opportunity', in accordance with their remit, to allow the fake abduction to happen.

Despite "irrelevant behaviour" from blood and cadaver dogs in the McCann's apartment, on Kate McCann's clothes, and in the car they hired three weeks after Maddie disappeared, Ex-Chief Inspector, Ian Horrocks, said: "The thought that Kate and Gerry McCann had anything to do with the death of their daughter is frankly preposterous."

Gerry McCann called for example to be made of 'trolls'. SKY News reporter Martin Brunt doorstepped Brenda Leyland on 2 October 2014. She was then found dead in a Leicester hotel room. Brenda paid the price. She paid with her life.

Ex-Deputy Chief Constable, Jim Gamble QPM, congratulated SKY reporter, Martin Brunt, on twitter for doorstepping Brenda Leyland on behalf of Gerry McCann.
