Re: Letter from Madeleine Foundation to Clarence Mitchell
You slammed down two other posters, and then claimed you had studied paedophile behaviour. You are the only person who has claimed to have made a study in to these things.
If you're unwilling to share the source of your expertise then maybe it's better not to claim to have more of an idea than other posters under the guise of study.
jmho.
Margarine - bleurgh. I don't believe in a higher being. I don't have a car.

Re: Letter from Madeleine Foundation to Clarence Mitchell
It is safe to say that there are many who walk amongst us who have expertise in many subjects including this one. The folly would be in discussing any of this in detail as this would ultimately attract the attention of people who engage in this kind of behaviour.
Meanwhile I think we should strike whilst the iron is hot and get Tony Bennett's letters publicised as widely as possible. Especially as the mainstream press and a leading paedophile expert by the name of Mark Williams Thomas are showing that they agree with him for once.
Jordan's sister put pictures of Princess on the internet and both the press and the nation went into shock. Yet it is sanctioned with authority when the McCanns do the same.
Parents have their children taken off them if they go out dining and drinking leaving toddlers alone. Yet it is seemingly sanctioned by all authorities where the Tapas 9 are concerned.
Some would say we have a two-tiered class system. Please don't try and get me onto the subject of sociology, poliitics or economics because of that sentence. Thank you.

Re: Letter from Madeleine Foundation to Clarence Mitchell
I have studied the matter Vaguely1, and I continue to study it at a reputable University. Believe me, sweeping generalisations such as Rainbow’s would certainly be deemed as ‘ridiculous’ in my faculty. I prefer to say uneducated, but as the Judge has often said I am too kind at times.
If you or anyone else would like to gain insight into the diverse nature of paedophiles, I suggest Dennis Howitt’s (1995), Paedophiles and sexual offences against children, Publisher J. Wiley, as a first port of call.
The book provides a wide variety of perspectives on adult-child sexual contacts, including those less hostile to paedophiles. Inside you will find extensive, in-depth, case histories & interviews, providing rich and detailed insight into offenders & their lifestyles. You will also find that the criminogenic role of sexual fantasy & pornography in sexual offences against children is discussed in unprecedented detail. And comprehensive accounts of assessment, treatment & theoretical issues in offending. I am sure any half decent library would be able to obtain a copy.
Happy reading.

As opposed to treating people amongst their own families in their own homes? After all, what is the harm in just looking at the sort of pictures we have just been treated to in the media via the McCanns?

This is how I imagine the Tapas 9 would want to reply to our criticisms.
To be on the safe side, may I suggest that you do not make further generalisations about subjects of which you have no knowledge.
Some people may have read your comment and thought it to be true. I think we have seen enough mis-information and obfuscation in this case to date, without any of us us joining in and sounding like we are the sort of people who would say that shutters had been jemmied when they haven't.

Surely there's no need for such a role?

Re: Letter from Madeleine Foundation to Clarence Mitchell
A trio of senior Conservative Party operatives have signed up with PR agencies, while others prepare to take jobs in Downing Street and government departments..
New posts: Clarence Mitchell and George Bridges
PRWeek can reveal that Lewis PR has hired Clarence Mitchell to be director of media strategy and public affairs. Mitchell, best known for providing PR support to the family of Madeleine McCann, was employed to run the Conservative Party's media monitoring unit during the general election.
Huntsworth-owned lobbying firm Quiller has also persuaded heavy-hitting Tory strategist George Bridges to return to the fold - six months after Bridges quit to help George Osborne run the party's general election campaign.
Another Tory to move into the agency world this week is Graham Hook, assistant director in the Conservative Party's research department, who also managed David Cameron's 'briefing team'. Hook becomes senior consultant at lobbying firm Politics International.
Headhunters expect more Tories to make the move into PR and lobbying in the next few weeks, as the set-up at Downing Street and in government departments becomes clearer. Among those set to take key roles in Downing Street are Tory comms director Andy Coulson, strategy director Steve Hilton, head of policy James O'Shaughnessy and chief of staff Ed Llewellyn.
It is also understood Tory press officers Caroline Preston and Alan Sendorek have been offered jobs in the Downing Street press office, but it is not known whether they have accepted. One Tory insider said that a number of aides had discussed setting up their own agency and were still considering the venture as PRWeek went to press. Other Tory staffers will become special advisers in government departments.
TORY LEAVERS
Clarence Mitchell - Ex-BBC journalist rose to fame handling media for the McCann family. Left Freuds in March 2010 to run Tories' media monitoring unit
George Bridges - Ex-Tory campaigns director quit for lobbying firm Quiller in 2007. Lured back late last year to help run election campaign
Graham Hook - Became assistant director in Tory research department in 2009.

Those secrets have certainly afforded him a Teflon coat up 'til now.
And a charmed life.

The man is like a Triffid the way he flourishes and thrives on death. Having read your post, I am now reminded of a Gracie Fields song about the biggest aspidistra in the world and another about a wheel that turns a cog that works the thingymagig. Which just about sums Mitchell up.
