Aiyoyo posted something about this on the Amanda Knox topic so I thought I'd start a separate one.

I have always felt that Mia Farrow made up the allegations of abuse after finding out about the relationship between her adopted daughter and Woody Allen.

A dreadful thing to do if true but, as they say, hell hath no fury.......

I'm going to have to spend some time digesting that analysis.

I don't take a lot of interest in Hollywood clebs but I've always loved Woody Allen's films and within that his observations of the eccentricities of all of us.  He's a very clever man.

From the moment she appeared on our screens I've thought Mia Farrow was a fey weirdo. She adopted so many kids etc. etc. so is battling the mess she created.

I don't think either of them were fit to be parents.

ETA.  Mia Farrow was always so androgenous.  Wispy little thing.

I love his films too, but I gave some a miss a few years ago because reviews were so bad.

I think Mia Farrow is slightly bonkers and that this latest publicity is related to Allen's back to form and the Oscar nominations for his most recent film, which I have seen, and I hope Cate Blanchett gets the gong.

Ronan Farrow does look like Frank, IMO.

If this is true, it is not wise to make it public. A humilliation for the daughter. This should be discussed behind doors, with a Judge.

Marconi, it's Mia Farrow and her children who have made it public.

I agree with Halfwit with his or her opinion of Mia.

I know I shouldn't believe everything that's said in interviews but I always remember one she gave after the sh*t hit the fan with Woody and her daughter.

I definitely got the impression that she regarded all her children as her babies - regardless of their ages - there was a reference to giving them their pocket money; the oldest ones were in their early 20s!

I think that when she found out about the relationship (and I agree it would be a shock to anyone) she regarded it as child abuse and invented the allegations about her young natural son and adopted daughter.
