And that last statement is the shame behind the crime.  Nobody ASKS the difficult questions.

Everyone knows what the questions are - many know that they should be the ones to ask them.  But for whatever reason (self-preservation usually) they keep quiet and meekly pretend all is well.   Which leaves the untouchables (and their very efficient lawyers) to laugh and snigger at the utter stupidity and spinelessness of the UK media organisations.

Do look out for not one difficult or probing question on CW tonight!  shame on you

You have to have a front as big as Harrods to appear on that CW extravaganza tonight and spout another pile of guff to the nation.

What does it say about the nation if they accept Redwood's guff?

Nah, they figured out nobody is taking their cr@p anymore, so it's time for what they had been working on since day 1: blame the PJ for it.
And ONLY took them, SY/MET, 2 YEARS 6 months to work that out!

Jeez, what would SY/MET 'do' if ever a child went 'missing'?
We've seen what the Met do, and what they don't do, when a child goes missing.

What they don't do is thoroughly search and secure the premises where she was last seen and immediately utitlise the media to publicise her disappearance.

What they actually do is cosy up to, and sit around drinking tea with, the child's family members while the SY officer in charge of the investigation poses in front of the cameras on a regular basis to assure the public that 'everything is being done'.

Around day 6 they bring in the dogs as a means to reinforce this message but, as the resultant televised images of police dogs and their handlers entering and leaving the property are merely for show, they pay no attention should the dogs bark while giving every appearance of looking up at the ceiling.

A couple of days later, when the overpowering stench of a decomposing body can no longer be ascribed to anything other than rancid, rotting, putrid human flesh, they bring the dogs back to search for a less than obese copper to get his arse into that part of the premises which should have been gone through with a fine tooth comb on day 1.

It's not necessarily to say they accept it Tony; more likely they're just too beaten down and apathetic to care. Cognitive dissonance in other words. Either way, it's not looking good.

I am positive too. Lol not always sure why, can not always put my finger on it but I am very certain that they will pay for what they did to her.

I'm staying positive. There are enough people watching this case now to cause uproar if it's covered up. However, I'm trying not to think about the fact that our uproar can also be covered up sad

NOPE! I am positive too.
The only reason they're spinning like wind can only be b/c things are not going well for them.
Else there would be no need for them to spill their spleen over the Joint Review proposal by trashing the PJ.
It's back to 2007 days when they used spin to influence the investigation..... so it's back to same old same old....
Meaning they're in the dark, very frightened, and lashing out out of fear.....

What did HH say? From the top of my head:  that they're following different lines of inquiry, that they have a common problem, that they're asking for a joint investigation? EU-regulation = having jurisdiction in each others country? IMO then no extradiction problems ...

I may have heard wrong but I thought AR said he hoped to have further cooperation with the PJ team (paraphrasing)

Does that not confirm they already liaise with each other?
