Ronnie Barker's son due in court on child porn charges
Comedian Ronnie Barker's son has been charged with making indecent images of children.

Adam Barker, 44, of no fixed address, attended a west London police station by appointment and was charged with five offences.

He will appear in custody at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court later.

Mr Barker has had small parts in films such as Shakespeare in Love and Tomorrow Never Dies. He has also appeared in several TV programmes.

"Adam Barker, 44, of no fixed address, attended a west London police station by appointment....."

It is accurate to say that more often than not, when a person under investigation fails to furnish an address, or furnishes one he clearly does not live at, it is because he is uncertain as to whether the police will search his current abode and if they did, he knows what they will find.....

He attended by appointment it seems, presumably made through or by his solicitor. How does his solicitor contact him? Does the itinerant Mr Barker sleep rough in just the clothes he stands up in and his state of the art android phone? Or perhaps his regular doss is beside a public phone box, very handy for when the lawyer calls....

Apparently he fled the country (and has only just returned) when the charges were first brought and didn't attend either of his parents' funerals - whether they would have wanted him there is unknown!

Well he jumped bail that's a fact.

Where he has been since is not clear.

I concede I was perhaps a little over sarcastic in my last post, but the point still remains.

He hasn't furnished an address and no one seems to know where he has been living for eight years. Very handy that.

My understanding is that they would very much have wanted him there. He was much loved and he loved them very much in return. He should have faced the music at the time of his original arrest. I imagine that, as reprehensible as his alleged crimes were, all this would be behind him now if he had.

Blood and cadaver alerts
dismissed by UK Government

Retired DCI Gonçalo Amaral: "The English can always present the conclusions to which they themselves arrived in 2007. Because they know, they have the evidence of what happened - they don't need to investigate anything. All this is now a mere 'show off'."

Retired murder DCI Colin Sutton: "I would also like to make the point that Operation Grange was so restricted from the start as to be destined to fail."

Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley made public on national TV that Operation Grange is a complete fraud.

Ex-DCI Andy Redwood had a "revelation moment" on BBC's Crimewatch on 14th October 2013 when he announced that Operation Grange had eliminated the Tanner sighting - which opened up the 'window of opportunity', in accordance with their remit, to allow the fake abduction to happen.

Despite "irrelevant behaviour" from blood and cadaver dogs in the McCann's apartment, on Kate McCann's clothes, and in the car they hired three weeks after Maddie disappeared, Ex-Chief Inspector, Ian Horrocks, said: "The thought that Kate and Gerry McCann had anything to do with the death of their daughter is frankly preposterous."

Gerry McCann called for example to be made of 'trolls'. SKY News reporter Martin Brunt doorstepped Brenda Leyland on 2 October 2014. She was then found dead in a Leicester hotel room. Brenda paid the price. She paid with her life.

Ex-Deputy Chief Constable, Jim Gamble QPM, congratulated SKY reporter, Martin Brunt, on twitter for doorstepping Brenda Leyland on behalf of Gerry McCann.
