Tactics used to discredit.

I have been reading lifeisforlivings thread on the MM regarding Sophia Leal complaining about her husband to his boss. I followed the Michael Jackson molestation case intently for a long time and I noticed the same tactics used in that case has been used in the Maddie case. I have no interest in discussing whether MJ was a molestor or not but I see the very same tactics used by the McCanns and their followers as the same as Michael Jackson and his defence used.
The use of the press to issue denials - the buying of TV airtime with their own money to issue denials (In the Jackson case twice, once on each case) The setting up of a website, in the MJ case charging the public for Court information feeds (which we got for free), in the McCanns case donations. Lies told about the Police (mis-treatment claimed by MJ later proved false)
The fascinating tactics of making the accusers, the accused.
The manipulating of minds to villify those seeking the truth. The hounding of Tom Sneddon who had years of service - the hounding of Goncalo Amaral. Paying off witnesses. The hounding of the accusers family, going through bins for receipts, proving the accusers mothers benefit fraud (in the MJ case) Dragging up old cases to discredit her. The writing of books to get your side of the story across. I started a book related to the MJ case a few days ago written by a singer (no-one has ever heard of) that specifically concentrates on blaming Sony and big business deals for MJ being in Court written before the not guilty verdicts were read.
So many similarities and at the centre of both those cases were children and money.
I am convinced the McCanns and their cohorts studied the Michael Jackson defence tactics and copied it.
