25 November 2013 - The 4th anniversary of CMOMM
Today is the 4th anniversary of CMOMM, set up on 25 November 2009.
It began with 8 members joining on that day, three of whom regularly post here still.
Hentie joined the next day, and 'candyfloss' the day after.
By the end of November, there were 34 members, by the end of December, 76.
There was a brief thread on here to mark the forum's second anniversary, here:
https://jillhavern.forumotion.net/t3912-our-2nd-anniversay-25-11-11?highlight=anniversary
By mid-2011 it had become the most popular, best-read forum on the Madeleine McCann case anywhere on the internet, and now has over 3,100 members, regularly attracting 400-500 viewers at any one time during the evenings - and many thousands every day. Over 2,500 visitors came here at one point on 14 October 2013 - during the Crimewatch Special evening, and tens of thousands came here at some point during the day.
Whilst many have contributed to the forum's success, credit for its continued existence and growth is down to the forum-owner and 'candyfloss' who have earned the great respect and appreciation of all lovers of truth on this forum.
No-one can possibly reasonably complain about people searching for the truth about an event.
I wish every success to all those on here (the vast majority, but by no means all) who continue to strive to understand the truth about the reported disappearance of Madeleine.
And I hope others will join me in thanking Jill and candyfloss warmly for the huge amount of dedicated work they have put into making this forum what it is today.

Dr Martin Roberts: "The evidence is that these are the pjyamas Madeleine wore on holiday in Praia da Luz. They were photographed and the photo handed to a press agency, who released it on 8 May, as the search for Madeleine continued. The McCanns held up these same pyjamas at two press conferences on 5 & 7June 2007. How could Madeleine have been abducted?"

It also turned out to be my last day at work though I didn't know it at the time - double cause for celebrations!

Congratulations to all who founded and keep this forum going. Special thanks to Jill, Admin and the mods who continue to put in so many hours and who aren't deterred.
I hope this forum doesn't have too many more birthdays as I hope that justice for Madeleine McCann is found.
This forum is four years old. Madeleine McCann wasn't four years old when she disappeared.
There is a libel trial in Lisbon that's taken four years to bring before a court. Madeleine McCann wasn't four years old when she disappeared.
Thank you to all those who make fantastic, genuine contributions and to those whose research is made available on this forum.
Keep going. I hope it's the last anniversary.
Justice for Madeleine McCann. The little girl with no voice.

And I wonder how much information and thoughtful analysis has been forwarded to the PJ, Dr Amaral and Grange after being churned and dissected and proof read and checked for errors here.
The congratulations are due to those concerned for keeping it on track. For not allowing abuse.
And for concentrating on the main issue
Madeleine Beth McCann is missing.
Her whereabouts and her fate are not known
Those who do know both of these facts have so far failed or refused to tell.

Steering the good ship CmoMM can't have been easy all these years, certainly with so many passengers and back-seat drivers (to mix a metaphore) - negotiating dangerous areas such as the Carter Rocks and the Sandbanks of Misinformation.

Re: 25 November 2013 - The 4th anniversary of CMOMM
Thank you everybody!
Whilst it was me who founded the forum, and have designed it, and try to keep everything in order and keep it safe and secure it is, as Tony said, Candyfloss who keeps the forum running smoothly/libel free/abuse free as much as possible.
Thank you Miss Floss
But, surely, this forum wouldn't even need to exist without the incredible contributions by people such as Tony Bennett, who has stuck his head above the parapet in the search for truth and justice for Maddie and has, for his genuine and heartfelt efforts for this beautiful little girl, been 'awarded' with a possible jail sentence.
Thank you Tony
We have also been blessed with the very important contributions of retired, very senior police detective, PeterMac, who has done so much research which has been forwarded to Operation Grange, the PJ and Dr Amaral.
Thank you Peter
And then we come to all our other members who have also contributed so much to the research and debate, again, without whom this forum would not be as popular as it is.
Thank you so much to all our genuine truthseekers
As for the trolls/McCann supporters who regularly come here to derail threads, post deliberate misinformation and to be abusive, I can only say shame on you for deliberately trying to damage the search for truth about what happened to little Maddie who was less than 4 years old when she died in the McCanns holiday apartment. I really have no idea whatsoever why you do this.
Let's not forget that it was the McCanns themselves who asked for help and money and that's why so many of us joined forums in the first place..... of course we're still here because of what followed afterwards - the dogs, the lies etc. And for all our genuine efforts to help we are abused, persecuted and threatened with prosecution and, as Tony will tell you, actually prosecuted and threatened with jail.
But, Happy Birthday everyone! We have to keep going

They pleaded for help - the Police and population of the resort turned out to search - whilst they all went to bed.
They pleaded for money and spent it on private detectives - but then kept silent about the results, and swore the PIs to silence, and actively suppressed what was prepared for them.
They pleaded for new witnesses, new clues, but treat with all the force of the law people who dare to analyse the evidence that was or is found
We must keep going, until the truth is known.
