Why did Kate keep reading 2 Samuel Chapters 11 and 12 in the Bible?

It might be just me, well I know it is just me at the moment, but doesnt anyone else get the feeling she drops hints in that she may secretly be a Crypto Jew ?
The strange pray like thing in the room when the Police arrived....
The reference to her Fathers Jewish background....
The case of the priest that was destroyed by something.... Could be a confession but I think Priests would be up for bad news
The Pope visit, then the removal of Madeleine from the Vatican notes....
A private Jet by a very wealthy businessman, a Tycoon in fact....

I just think it would be an area that she would get protection...IMO

Indeed, me too.

I regret my username now to be honest - it seems disrespectful bearing in mind what was probably behind that sofa in 5A. But I'm stuck with it now Sad

I prefer it when people call me WLBTS :)

After the death of Bathsheba's baby, came better news for David and Bathsheba.

David cheated on Bathseheba's husband, Uriah, and had him killed in battle.

Bathsheba fell pregnant with David's child.

Their child died after 7 days [2 Samuel 12 v 18]. It was a direct punishment from God for David's son [2 Samuel 12 v 15].

Then David repented. He was genuinely remorseful for the offence he had caused to God: "I have sinned against the Lord" [2 Samuel 12 v 13].

But then, a few verses later, comes the redemption:

2 Samuel 12 v 24: "And David comforted Bathsheba his wife, and went in unto her, and lay with her: and she bare him a son, and he called his name Solomon: and the Lord loved him".

Solomon was to become Israel's greatest king, and built Israel's first temple. He became so famous that the Queen of Sheba travelled alll the way from Africa to see him:

Didn't the man who loaned them the bible say ,not sure where but I have seen it recently that infact the bible was his wifes and she may have put a marker or marked some scriptures herself ,beore k was using it ? joyce1938
