Recovery position
With Blacksmith recalling the David James Smith article in (?) the Times, I remember that Smith wrote that Gerry McCann looked fondly at Madeleine in the bedroom on the 3rd and noted she was lying "in the recovery position".
Smith explained in the usual crap sycophantic journo manner that this was because Gerry always thought like a doctor, or words to that effect.
But really - what an odd thing to say in the circumstances.

Re: Recovery position
He didn't seem to be thinking llike a doctor when he went out leaving his three little ones alone night after night whilst on holiday in PDL. IMO it was such an irresponsible thing to do I cannot believe what the lot of them were thinking. How they have the cheek to threaten people with the courts after that I have no idea, but up to the present they have got away with it. Let's see whether Madam Judge stops the rot, cross fingers.
Good Luck Mr. A.

recovery position
I am putting so much faith in Madam Judge. I hope that she won't be scared off or corrupted by the usual suspects. Sadly I cannot put any trust in that Redwood character. Is this his punishment for being found out on the Barry George miscarriage of justice?

It's ironic Redwood is now going on Crimewatch.juliet wrote:I am putting so much faith in Madam Judge. I hope that she won't be scared off or corrupted by the usual suspects. Hobs can no doubt shed some light on why Gerry used those particular words

Checked and the Smith piece was called Beyond the Smears and was a grovelling pro Gerry piece in the Sunday Times magazine.

Re: Recovery position
It's not the only instance of letting us mere mortals know that doctors are so different.juliet wrote:With Blacksmith recalling the David James Smith article in (?) the Times, I remember that Smith wrote that Gerry McCann looked fondly at Madeleine in the bedroom on the 3rd and noted she was lying "in the recovery position".

Kate tells us that she rushed round the apartment which she could do because of her medical training.
Gerry tells us that if she had an accident they'd have gone for medical help 'because it's drummed into you in medical school'
I would have thought they were the help. Two doctors?
The above (not literal quotes) are clearly ridiculous. Including the recovery position although this last could be true.
I am quite willing to believe that the last time Gerry saw her this was the case, just not on the 3rd May and not on the bed.
