Terrified callers told them they had seen masked men forcing two women into a white van.

Phew! Good job Bernie's ELITES are in Portugal, maybe they've found the WHITE VAN used by the 'cleaners' or NOT...... SIX years ago!!
Bernies going to have to add ANOTHER 4 'people of interest' to his list!
Andy will be pleased.

Re: Little bit weird!
I've snipped this bit from the article
"The company's website promises: "You will go through the real sensations of violence, terror and fear of a real kidnapping – a psychological shock that you won't forget in a hurry."
Please, please, please don't stick me in a room with this company. After being held hostage at gunpoint, tied up, dragged around a house and threatened with a hot iron and a knife last year, please, please, please don't stick me in a room with the bunch of b*st*r*s selling this as an event.
I'm editing to add that mine was a real life event.

Re: Little bit weird!
There was, or even is, a holiday in Colditz where they will treat you exactly like POWs and you get the same food.
Apparently there was a waiting list!

Re: Little bit weird!
Men pay to be wrapped up in cling-film and humiliated. They are in need of psychiatric help, obviously.
Then there are people like Max whatsisname who hired an infamous firm of libel lawyers to try to cover up what he had been doing (or receiving). When it was all revealed, no one seemed to care !

If there is ever a holiday advertised, where people can pay to be treated like a POW, in auschwitz, then society is in real trouble.
hitler would have loved to have gotten away with that idea.

Re: Little bit weird!
Back........... OT!
Wonder how long it took Bernies 38 ELITE 'balloon blowers' to get to Lisbon from PDL when the report came over the police radio that there had been an 'abduction' involving 'swarthy, egg headed, wearing nice shoes' Portuguese men with a white van?
Andy must have thought all his crimbos and birthdays had come at once! lol.
Oh well, back topatrolling 'searching' the PDL beach then!
Slip, slap, slop boyz!

Re: Little bit weird!
It's a reference to Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe, the Commissioner of the Met Police and his merry band of officers who are investigating every piece of evidence, leaving no stone unturned, as we speak.

The balloons will cost a pound to sponsor and all money will go to the Madeleine appeal fund.
The Chief Constable of Merseyside Police - Bernard Hogan Howe will lead the release of balloons on the highest point of Liverpool inner city on Mossley Hill Field at 1400 BST.
___________________________________________
BHH, was then appointed, personally, by Theresa May to oversee the 'review' (Operation 'Strange', to ultimately report to him) forced on her by Rebekah Brooks.
The same Mrs May that is supplying UNLIMITED taxpayers 'funding' (for ONE 'missing' child)
What are the chances that the Mccanns 'fundraiser-in-chief' BHH is going to order Andy Pandy to find anything 'against' the people, or their 'friends', he personally raised funds for to put in their PRIVATE Ltd 'company'? ('fund')
I'd say NONE!
Wouldn't you?
I'm not one for 'conspiracies' lol, but...............

Re: Little bit weird!
I've never seen any confirmation that BHH, at the time heading Merseyside Police, actually "lead" the balloon release. This was only mentioned in articles BEFORE the event. In articles AFTER the event, I've fund no mention of him. E.g.
http://www.thefreelibrary.com/100+messages+for+Madeleine.-a0165144468
On June 17, 2002 the 1,000 balloons turned out to be 100 and [snippets]:
"The balloon release was the idea of police community support officer Adam Watson, who is based in Allerton's Church ward. He said: "This was a chance for the community to come together and show support for our local residents, Brian and Sue. Adults have had plenty of opportunities to come forward and have their say. I thought it was time the young people were given a chance to put their feelings on paper and spread the message."
"Also in attendance yesterday was actor Michael Starke, formerly Sinbad of Brook side and now in the cast of Coronation Street. "

Re: Little bit weird!
I suppose he could get away with that one, by saying they were not suspects at that time, but whatever way you look at it, its downright weird. Imagine a chief constable joining in with Stuart Hazel's candlelight vigils for Tia Sharp prior to her body being found?jeanmonroe wrote:http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/merseyside/6761027.stm
