M16 involvement

Hi, I have been totally absorbed into the disappearance of Madeleine from the moment I saw the Mccanns giving their first interview, I remember thinking how odd it was that they appeared so devoid of any emotion and spoke in an almost casual, matter of fact way.
Sorry if there is a thread on this subject currently. I had read that there was a possible involvement of M16 at the beginning of this case with British detectives, in Praia Da Luz, having to sign the official secrets act, any more info on this?
I find the above of particular interest as I came across a news article that stated a British couple saw a 2-3ft black package being loaded on to a jetski very early in the morning some six miles away from Praia, nine hours after Madeleine had gone missing.
The jetski then took the package out to an 'official' looking grey boat.

Throw into the mix a government spin doctor, despatched to control all information and act as the Mccanns mouthpiece, personal phone calls from the Blairs and Mr Gordon Brown, you have to wonder who exactly, other than the parents, is being kept out of the limelight.

I had a dream a sniffer dog at an airport was telling me about a jet-ski by pretending to be on one!

I also dreamed about... a grass swing park....near a golf course...not too far from the sea in Portugal.

Hi Fiver Star, came across this vid, thought it was interesting, especially the bit about the golf course.
I don't normally take much notice of psychics but I like to keep an open mind.

A British couple claim they saw a small bundle being smuggled on a jetski and taken out to sea just a few miles from where Madeleine McCann went missing.

The witnesses say that they had been on an early morning swim, about nine hours after the toddler disappeared, when they saw a man in a dark wetsuit the riding the vehicle with a 2ft- to 3ft-long black package on the front.

He then appeared to take the bundle it to a small “official-looking” grey boat moored just off the coast at Salema, six miles up the coast from Praia Da Luz where Madeleine went missing last May.

Despite the fact that the couple reported their sighting to the Ocean Club resort, where the McCann family had been staying, police have not yet investigated the incident or called them in to be interviewed.

The witnesses, who did not want to be named, are from south-west England and were visiting relatives Patrick Matthews, 37, and his wife Eliza, 25, in Salema, near Praia da Luz.

The McCann’s official spokesman Clarence Mitchell said that Kate and Gerry McCann were concerned the Portuguese police had not followed up such a “potentially significant lead”.

I have done a little bit of digging and whilst I do not wish to put some of the details I found on this forum, I will say the following:

Patrick and Eliza - originally from Exeter, now living elsewhere in Devon.

Patrick is friends with x and y.
x is a friend of Sally Eveleigh.
y is friends with Robert and Michaela Murat.

I conclude that Patrick is probably a direct family friend of the Murats/Eveleighs.

Very interesting and a little confusing??

If the couple were staying in Salema do we know if the Murats/Eveleighs have relatives in Salema too?

Why would they report this sighting to the Ocean Club resort and not the PJ? Surely if you see something as strange as this then you wouldn't tootle down to the Ocean Club to report it to the receptionist? Unless they were taking in a visit to the Murat family home and popped in when they passed?

Is this another 'so called' highly important and not looked into lead (according to the McCanns spokesman) because it actually never happened and the PJ aren't bothered because they also know it never happened?

All very odd?

I just thought it was an interesting "coincidence" that the people named in the story are associated with the Murat family.

Now there's a word that is consistently associated with this case - coincidence!!

Still don't get why they would report such a thing to the Ocean Club?
