My son had a legal dispute and was up against a top law firm. My son is a student with little assets but he was the Claimant. They tried to knock hom over with massive threat of costs. He did not cave in because the reality was trhat he had nothing to lose. In the end there was a settlement on the same terms as what my son offered pre issue of his claim.

In that case the costs were about £40,000. I could not never work out why they would they do this apart from the obvious threat of costs but they never had the chance to win as my son had little assetts.

Anyhow, I wondered in that case and more important this case if the other side can get some form of insurance on costs so they get paid whatever happens (provided they win).

Loadsa money needed to keep one of those in place if indeed there is one.

There has been 0.0000000001 per cent in the british media about the facts of this case

Yes but the 'OK factor' assigned to the gooooooooood doctors hasn't applied to your other waynetta's has it.
Plenty of women who've been found in the local pub, since the doctors went on the p**s leaving their kids back at the flat, have felt the stinging whip of the law.
Kids taken off them, and enjoying the catering at Her Royal Majesty's tavern.

Writer attacks McCann spend

A LOCAL author has criticised the parents of Madeleine McCann for using money meant to find the missing girl to fund libel cases.
“To use the cash collected for finding Madeleine to silence intelligent criticism and research is criminal in itself,” said Brian Deller, from Malaga. His comments came after a book by American Criminal Profiler Patricia Brown was published.
Deller, known for his books on motoring in Spain, said: “Needless to say the McCanns, with their massive funds collected from a sympathetic public to finance the search for poor little Madeleine, have engaged top lawyers who specialise in libel actions to have the book banned. Amazon has had to withdraw it from their on-line web-site.”
He added that money donated to find Madeleine should not be used to fund libel actions, saying the silencing of critics and book bans were the actions of totalitarian regimes.
