DNA on clothing
This is a link to an interesting Textusa blog regarding DNA on cuddlecat and KM's clothing. I had actually always wondered why DNA had not been picked up on JM's clothing but after reading the blog and remembering that JM wasn't there to 'f**king enjoy himself' and realising that in general, parents of small children put themselves second to their children on holiday regarding 'enjoyment' while JM obviously was not prepared to do this (re his 'I'm not here to f**king enjoy myself' comment). Reading Textusa's blog I can understand why DNA was not found on JM's clothing - he was never interested in her while she was alive and never interested in her afterwards. Read Textusa's theory of the DNA on KM's clothing and you'll see what I mean.

Re: DNA on clothing
I did have to stop and wonder for a moment who JM was but the "not here to enjoy myself" comment made it clear!
There appears to be suspiciously little DNA evidence of Madeleine anywhere in PDL, not just on Gerry.

Re: DNA on clothing
You'd think if someone was unfortunate enough to have to deal with a dead body, and realised it would be prudent to get rid of any clothes that had been in contact with it, (to avoid any potential subsequent unfortunate mis-interpretation by the police in their role in the death), that they would also gently advise their spouse to do the same, to similarly avoid being unfairly implicated..... How odd not to... you'd hate your spouse to be accused if it ever came to be investigated - wouldn't you?

Would you? Maybe not if you were Gerry.

Re: DNA on clothing
Can anyone remember who said KM had attended six deaths prior to going on holiday and this was why cadavour ouder was found on her trousers?

I seem to recall it was reported in the Belfast paper, three times, but can 't lay my hands on it at the moment.Cherry Blossom wrote:Can anyone remember who said KM had attended six deaths prior to going on holiday and this was why cadavour ouder was found on her trousers?
I think they were quoting a "family member"
DNA on clothing
It seems Kate herself told it on a statement.

Re: DNA on clothing
Just a thought, perhaps the DNA on kates clothing was meant to be so we would all think kate caused Madeleine harm but perhaps Gerry caused Madeleine harm, if that makes sense

According to The Sun (SO IT MUST BE TRUE!) it was Kate who made the six corpses quote but I have certainly read in other bastions of truth and honesty that it was someone else in the gruesome entourage.

According to this it was Phil McCann who allegedly repeated what Kate allegedly said..........
Cadaver-sniffing dogs brought in by investigators, however, reportedly responded to Kate's clothing, then became agitated when they were given the scent of the McCanns' car key fob. During 16 hours of police questioning over two days, says Philomena McCann, "Kate was repeatedly shown the sniffer dog video." Kate McCann reportedly explained to police that, as a GP, she came in contact with six bodies shortly before leaving for Portugal. As a senior Scotland Yard investigator points out, cadaver dogs can't tell one corpse from another and have little value in tying a suspect to a specific body. "Dogs can sniff out death," he says. "However, you can't ask a dog to stand up in court and give evidence."

It has always puzzled me, I'd never really thought about where KM was a GP, just that she worked in Leicester then after reading she worked has a GP under her maiden name Healy at Leatham House, Melton Mowbery, I looked up the Medical Practice

At present there are nineteen GP's, I don't know how many there were when KM was employed thee, but for one GP to have six people die always on her shift is unbelievable, I don't believe it anyway.

Harold Shipman managed it.

Snipped from Sun
The dogs also sniffed items of clothing — and the film shows Eddie again picking up a scent on some of Kate’s.
The family GP has insisted she came into contact with at least SIX dead bodies before going on holiday with her husband and three children
I wonder if this was followed through by PJ asking Leicershire Police for information of the six deaths? This imo would be a logical thing to do in the process of elimination, surely they didn't just take her word for it. I've seen no reference to it, but is it possible this information is in the files that haven't been released?

And why a GP would need to be in contact with the bodies approx 2 hours after their death.

Re: DNA on clothing
There could be valid reasons for delays in a GP certifying a death at home. Someone who had lived alone might not have been found for some time - sorry, I don't mean to conjure up unpleasant images.
Bearing in mind however that Kate only worked part-time (a day and a half a week from memory) it is as unbelievable that she could have attended so many deaths in such a short time space.
Absolute nonsense!

It is total nonsense, part of the endless attempts by the family and spokesthing to retrofit. No Fate Worse Than De'Ath wrote:There could be valid reasons for delays in a GP certifying a death at home. Totaly agree NFWTD. Just a thought, maybe the six were already dead, could she have been working in the Hospital Morgue? now that could lead on to other theories.
PeterMack, well they had to find a reason for the scent of death being there. IMO KM nursed Madeleine when she was dying or was already dead

Given that Eddie detected cadaver odour on some of Kate's clothes and a child's T-shirt some three to four months later, I'd guess that it's not that easy to get rid of. Not that I believe Kate's story about the 6 corpses, it's nonsense.

Re: DNA on clothing
Do they expect us to believe not only that Kate wore holiday attire while undertaking her professional duties of confirming death but actually pressed her body contained within said clothes against the corpses? As opposed to the briefest contact with fingertips as is usually demonstrated by doctors in such circumstances?

Someone who can afford a house like theirs must have more than one set of clothes.
