Gerry's calls to S.Africa & a few other things

From looking at the phone records, GM made the following calls to someone in South Africa. Any ideas who?

Save flooding with loads of threads I'll just list other things I've picked up on thus far from the files, some probably have no meaning or reason :

DP wears his wedding ring on wrong hand?
Twins moved from starfish to jellyfish crèche 01/05/07?
Hair search on spare bed in 5A negative despite K sleeping there
Dog hairs found in child's room in 5A & paw prints
Why did KM send voice & text messages to Paul Gordon (previous 5a occupant who cut himself shaving)
Two of the couples had baby monitors

I think a lot of post 3/5 'pings' are in the PJ files as well.

The SA calls must surely have been to Danny Krugel, recently discussed.

For the rest of the information, afaik the twins were in the same creche all the time, except Friday the 4th. In fact MW opened the creche especially for them on Saturday 5th, normally it's closed on Saturdays.

Two baby monitors we know about.

The wedding ring significance escapes me, it usually depends on one's religion.

The Gordon's are well documented, to do with witness statements. i believe they complained about being contacted by TM.
There is a discussion on this here somewhere - apart from the hairs and the dog hair, puzzle solved?

Same creche behind the Tapas bar for the twins, but the group was just called 29^th Toddler 2, Jellyfish, with Shinead

30^th Starfish, 30^th Starfish, 1^st Jellyfish, 1^st Jellyfish, 2^nd Jellyfish, 2^nd Jellyfish, 3^rd Jellyfish (Shinead & Stacey), 4^th Jellyfish.

Shinead was with them everyday, but also Stacey on 3rd.

Never known if the leaders just got confused with the sub-group names or just mixed & matched the group names.

All this info I've gleaned from the pj files website & mccann files. (Mainly mccannfiles) Have gone back to the beginning on both having read them before & noted anything strange or that stands out. I dip in & out of the case for my own sanity, sometimes it gets too much/get too involved.

Regards the calls to SA wasn't kruegel brought in at a much later date than the first call? How did GM find out about him to make first contact?

In July 2007 the McCann’s called in Daniel Krugel, a former South African detective, with a record for finding missing children. He spent 4 days searching in and around Praia da Luz. He believes that he has followed the route taken by Madeleine from the apartment, through paths and roads leading to a nearby beach. He then drew a map and handed this to investigators who searched the area on two occasions, but found no tangible evidence of any kind and has said that there is a slight possibility that she could be alive. Kate and Gerry McCann believe that Krugel’s findings show that Madeleine was abducted and placed on a boat, whereas the Portuguese media see this as her body being placed on a boat and then dumped at sea. The Portuguese police were aware of Krugel’s search at the time and followed up his findings.

I discussed these calls before with Stevo (hope ok to name names) he told me he had called the number & it was a man who was selling a car. Don't believe Kikoratton has anything about these calls either, certainly not the last time I asked him.

Could of course have been a SA who had a holiday home in the Algarve - so that would explain that very early call. Rest them could be Krugel.
Interesting - say that SA call nr 1 told Gerry about Krugel. Krugel plays their tune, comes over, traces Maddie to a boat, wow! What do you know the marina has been seriously pointed out by Ms. Healy and a psychic as early as 8/5.
Krugel obligingly confirms that story but changes to 'death' by October 2007.

i think the psychic vision is in Dr. Roberts' A tense ...' Something. Admin has just posted links to the Dr. Roberts articles.

In that case we've 'seen' it taken out on a boat?

Agreed Portia, these two think they are above the law and no one can touch them. I think what were doing is really what is going to get someone to break, even if it's going over everything we know with a fine tooth comb, rehashing it all over again it let's them know we won't stop and in their anger or a moment of their superiority... Someone will screw up again, and it seems to be km who keeps gabbing away. She may secretly think they committed the perfect crime which fits inside her perfect world.
