Press intrusion, what a joke! Immediately after Maddie was 'whooshed,' Gerry McCann wanted his so called "mentally raped" wife to pose for the paparazzi in a swimsuit.... something even sleazy Clarence Mitchell baulked at. What a sick request under the circumstances.... in yet nobody seemed phased, not even Kate, who I reckon would have complied if it weren't for stern advice from the pink pimp.

Its beggars belief isn't it. They made sure to use the media to its fullest even before the PJ turned up and now claiming 'mental rape' & intrusion . You couldn't write a book and make this believable!

Slightly off topic, but I've always wondered about that too. It makes me question how well her former patients actually knew Dr Healy? It doesn't appear she worked at that particular practice for long. For instance, (according to Janet Kennedy's statement) she DID NOT return to work after having Madeleine, she only returned to work part time - One & half/two days a week? when her maternity leave was up after the birth of the twins.

Kate (as Kate Healy) was only registered as a GP on 31 Mar 2006 so had only a year of working part time.

This doctor is not on the Specialist Register for any particular medical field.

I don't think that's correct Gillyspot, although I can see why you'd think that.

She's not on the list I have seen but maybe she will do....will be a first though if she is & I would have thought it'd be tomorrow and not Thursday. Anyway, gerry is totally running things...he never even allowed a picture of mother and daughter be released! only he was in it. He could easily have photoshopped her in!

This latest aspect of the whole affair can hardly be helping the 'search' can it? This shows their true colours. the focus is on them. in being treated as if they were celebrities and therefore far more. important than they are, they have succeeded in making it appear as if they are the victims and their daughter is a sad memory on the fringe of it all.. there cannot be many cases like this where so many people appear to have been duped for so long. one hopes tomorrow will be the beginning of the end for this tragic affair and that soon the truth will be found .

It certainly does. Can you imagine Milly's mother getting through to her voicemail and believing she must be alive only to be told she's dead and her phone was hacked? As a mother myself I just can't imagine the absolute horror of the real situation her parents were faced with.

I hate being negative too jd, but I agree. The Leveson enquiry, like the Murdoch enquiry is just pantomime - bread and circuses for the masses. Ultimately, all I expect to come out of this is further erosion of our freedoms and rights.

We'll see what tomorrow brings. The McCann's 'performance' should be interesting.
