The search is back on Tony Bennett
Tony Bennett
Isn't this great news?!! All that we've all been waiting for, a review of the files and a continued joint search by both the Portuguese Judicary and Scotland Yard.
You must be 'over the moon' to learn that after all these years, something is actually happening?
Or do you believe that there is some other sinister motive behind all this...............like you have always maintained?
We all await your opinion with baited breath.................... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Re: The search is back on Tony Bennett
GREAT news that the case is going to be reinvestigated.
Although it is a shame it has taken so long, I bet it's something to do with the billions of euro bailout the portuguese are in need of.
Still, like Garth says, Mr Bennett and all the other justice seekers should be clapping their hands with glee that the McCanns and everyone else will be investigated again by Scotland Yard.
Though I have to say, if I was guilty of what some on here and other places say about doing to my child, I'd have run for the hills years back and kept a low profile. I certainly would not be pressing for a reinvestigation, reopening, cold case review.

Re: The search is back on Tony Bennett
It is indeed good news.
There seems to be a range of possible outcomes
The include
1 Nothing further of use
2 Leads which take us to Madeleine being found alive and well and unharmed and living like a Princess and giving her 'tuppenceworth"...
3 Leads which take us to Madeleine, alive, but seriously harmed, both physically and mentally
4 Leads which take us to the tragic discovery of Madeleine's remains
1 is most probable. "PJ did what they could given the difficult circumstances and the lack of cooperation and the destruction of evidence etc etc..."
2 almost impossible. In fact one can be bold enough to say Absolutely impossible.
3 Extremely unlikely, but just possible. Incidentally the one discussed in distressing detail by Kate in her book,
4 Possible, but very unlikely after this length of time, and unlikely given that the Met will probably only be looking at paper evidence.
Everyone wants # 2.
Everyone would love to believe that it could be possible, but most know that it is not.

If the Met are going to do a thorough investigation, they will need to contact all of the other guests the McCann's came into contact with that week. Information which can be found from creche, tapas restaurant and tennis sheets. If they do, I will take my hat off to them. If they don't, they will be no better than the Portuguese.
If they do, I will know about it... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

The search is back on GARTH and not before time but are you willing to accept what the Met may uncover? Clearly, Garth you know nothing abouth the Metropolitan Police's paedophile unit so allow me to enlighten you a little courtesy of Detective Chief Inspector Nick Stevens, head of the Metropolitan Police's paedophile unit.
Babies are new target, Met warns as paedophile threat spirals
Children too young to speak are increasingly being targeted by sex offenders - and members of the professions are among those trawling the net for images.
At least now the Met are involved Garth, I for one, am much more confident that the real paedophile who allegedly abducted Madeleine may be eventually caught.
Babies are new target, Met warns as paedophile threat spirals
Children too young to speak are increasingly being targeted by sex offenders - and members of the professions are among those trawling the net for images.
Detective Chief Inspector Nick Stevens, head of the Metropolitan Police's paedophile unit, said: 'There are huge numbers of paedophiles online, surfing the net and looking for child abuse images, at any one time.
'The problem is far, far larger than anyone is aware of. Ten years ago the Metropolitan Police seized perhaps a few thousand images a year. Now you're talking millions.' He added that the middle classes had to start accepting that large numbers of paedophiles came from professional backgrounds. Last Friday Martin Hatcher, 46, an NHS scientist from Exeter, was jailed for downloading more than 270,000 child abuse pictures.
Although Thompson fitted the image of a dysfunctional loner, Stevens said many paedophiles often seemed respectable. 'Look at the professions of the people we are arresting - police officers, teachers and those who are often closely involved with children's groups, helping Cubs, Brownies, sporting clubs. 'In fact, the more respectable someone is can make them more dangerous by making it easier for them to gain the trust of their intended victim. We need to get every aspect of society to understand that this is a massive problem,' Stevens said.

why do you come on here just to take pop at tony.are you getting a tad worried now the met are involved

Am I making it that obvious trust me.
Erm, being as Tony Bennett has been the believer of some sordid cover up and for his continuous questioning/baiting of the McCanns, I find it odd (not really of course - fully understandable in the circumstances) that you feel he should nt be questioned!
What is noteworthy, is that he has yet failed to answer anything.
I suspect he will need to do some more analysing before he thinks up some excuse for his bigotry.
But then again and giving full benefit of the doubt, i could be wrong.

The Madeleine Foundation broadly supports the views of Labour spokesman Lord Harris on this issue.
We shall be writing to Prime Minister David Cameron shortly asking him to consider arranging a full judicial public enquiry at which all, including the McCanns and their friends, can give evidence and be cross-examined about what really happened to Madeleine McCann*.
This would be far better than what looks like it will be a long, drawn-out and expensive 'cold case' paper review with no real prospect of achieving anything.
* The petition in support of a full public enquiry now has 705 signatures.

The search is back on Tony Bennett
My concern is that the vast majority of the public who know something about the disappearance of Madeleine McCann assume that she was abducted and will not acknowledge that there are other possibilities about how she met her fate. The one great strength of the Met's cold-case review is that they will begin with an open mind - nothing ruled in and nothing ruled out. I don't think we can ask for more than that. This enquiry may even open a whole new 'can of worms'. "Beware of things you wish for!", springs to mind.

Very true royaldie.
What was it that Theresa May said now, that "it may lead to a new perspective". I think the use of the word perspective is very relevant indeed. What she is saying is that overnight we could go from front page claims of abduction, to front page news of fraud and deception.

i also believe there is a cover up,how have the mccanns got away with what they have only on the evidence of one jane tanner and her ever changing eggman(must be at least 5-6 ).how many other lost children have had the help they have,ie gordon brown and now david cameron, and why do i think this extra help that david cameron is giving is so it can
all be swept under the carpet.

Carla 19 - I don't mean to sound patronising but I wonder if 19 is your age. It would help your cause and earn you greater respect if you expressed your opinions without being rude and insulting.

Except the McCanns has had the huge publicity machine at their disposal, papers, interviews, etc. So not really comparible.

Forgive me for enquiring "carla 19" but if you regard this forum and it members as "vile" why do you feel compelled to read what is being discussed on such a "vile" forum?

The search is back on
Carla 19, it was me who wondered about your age because sadly I was just like you when I was that age many years ago! You certainly cannot be old enough to be my granny or you would be dead! If you have read all the information on this website and you still believe the McCanns' version of events, that is your right but, as I said before, you do not help your cause by the way you express yourself.
