McCanns use public money to make FALSE claims against Portuguese detective
Once again, the McCanns have used public money - donated by children giving up their weekly pocket money and pensioners giving up their weekly pension - to bring yet another false charge against Goncalo Amaral.
The lawyer the McCanns are paying FROM THE FIND MADELEINE FUND to pursue Goncalo Amaral, the Portuguese detective who pulled the McCanns in for questioning and made them suspects - Isobel Duarte - has now LOST her THIRD court case against Dr Amaral in the past six months.
In the past few months, she has TWICE LOST appeals regardng the banning of Dr Amaral's book about the case: 'The Truth About a Lie'. Her DEFEATS and DR AMARAL'S VICTORIES mean that Dr Amaral's books can once again be sold in Portugal. Soon to be sold in England, we hope.
Now here's news of ANOTHER DEFEAT for the McCanns and ANOTHER VICTORY for Goncalo Amaral.
The McCanns used PUBLIC MONEY to make ANOTHER FALSE ACCUSATION against Dr Amaral, this time accusing him of fraudulently making a false claim to the Portuguese Social Security Department in order to try to claim Legal Aid.
The public's money is not going on searching for Madeleine.
It is going on a volley of legal actions against the author of 'The Truth About a Lie'.
Here's today's news report from Correos da Manha - courtesy of 'carolina' on the MM forum; Portugese first:
Caso Maddie: McCann perdem
Maddie Case: The McCanns lose
The Public Ministry of Portimão has thrown out the complaint of Isabel Duarte, the lawyer for the McCanns.
The McCanns had complained that Gonçalo Amaral had made false declaration in relation to his income and resources to the Social Security Department in order to obtain Legal Aid.
The Public Ministry considered that Goncalo Amaral had not committed any crime.
