Shining in Luz Commentary on Operation Grange
Just having a trawl I have found myself reading 'Shining in Luz' as they / he / she have been commenting over the last few days on their perception of the investigation and how it may be progressing.
Makes for an interesting read in these days where news is scarce on the case..

Re: Shining in Luz Commentary on Operation Grange
Anyone know who is behind this Shining In Luz website?
I followed the link given by Helenmeg regarding Malinka thinking it would be a sceptic website but not so sure after reading the rest of it, particularly his/her friendship with Heriberto Janosch Gonzalez who, it seems is pro TM and pro abduction. Maybe he/she is just trying to be impartial.

Re: Shining in Luz Commentary on Operation Grange
That's the pervert who tweeted that he wanted to kiss three-year-old Maddie "on the lips". He also made an absolutely ridiculous video of an "abductor" stealing a pillow through a window. On the wrong side. And WTF is an "expert's degree"? I've filed him in the same box as Birch, but I think he's a lot more sinister.Richard IV wrote:Anyone know who is behind this Shining In Luz website?I followed the link given by Helenmeg regarding Malinka thinking it would be a sceptic website but not so sure after reading the rest of it, particularly his/her friendship with Heriberto Janosch Gonzalez who, it seems is pro TM and pro abduction. He's also been known to put up IP addresses of his critics on Twitter, leave them there for a couple of hours, and then delete the tweet. He did it to me once. Shame it wasn't my IP address, but some poor innocent sod at the other end of the country.

Wow, I just googled him and it says he's an expert in psychology and criminology in Spain. Is that the right person?

Re: Shining in Luz Commentary on Operation Grange
Well, so he says. I doubt it somehow, as I couldn't find evidence of Madrid University offering any such degree. He's made a number of very strange statements and an equal amount of ludicrous "reconstructions" to "prove" an abduction, like the example I already gave - opening a window and lifting out a cushion is apparently meant to "prove" that an abductor could have taken Maddie. If that's the quality of his research then his "degree" must be from the Joke Factory.
He occasionally haunts the "pro" forums and boards where he is hailed as a hero, but of course they are daft enough to believe anything.
I think he was actually quoted in the Daily Mail at one point too, which the pro McCann camp obviously thought was wonderful and gave some sort of credence to their daft theories. To me, he just came across as a complete eejit.
As well as creepy and sinister. A bit like Pedro "Fluffy Towel" Silva. It wouldn't surprise me if they are one and the same.

You're obviously very up-to-date with the people associated with this case - pro and anti - so will be an asset to this forum!

I started out on forums 9 years ago GGG, and I have the memory of an elephant, which is sometimes a good thing and a bad thing at other times.

Re: Shining in Luz Commentary on Operation Grange
I have been round the houses.... started off on MSM, then the Daily Express, then the 3 Arguidos, then some breakaway forum that I forget the name of, then Missing Madeleine, then Maddie McCann Mystery (which I left in October).
Having said that, there are gaps, I keep leaving then finding myself having to come back

Re: Shining in Luz Commentary on Operation Grange
There was I only recently saying how I admire this forum because it refrains from bitching about other platforms that discuss the case of Madeleine McCann and repeating the disgraceful conduct of some hereon unless by way of defence when CMoMM or one of it's members is targeted.
Bang goes another theory.
Bang goes another theory.

Allow me to explain.BarryTheHatchet wrote:Who is bitching about other platforms?Verdi wrote:There was I only recently saying how I admire this forum because it refrains from bitching about other platforms that discuss the case of Madeleine McCann and repeating the disgraceful conduct of some hereon unless by way of defence when CMoMM or one of it's members is targeted.

In latter days I've seen quite a few venues that spend most of the time criticizing one another - for me this is very off putting and non-productive. Not only does it comprise of McCann supporters trying to discredit anyone that dares to question the McCann story-line but also I've found that claimed McCann critics are just as guilty of trying to slay fellow McCann critics - this situation I find suspicious and intolerable. I opted out of one such venue for that very reason.
Although I entirely agree that there are some very weird people out there that interest themselves one way or another with the case of Madeleine McCann, I don't think it appropriate to report their obscure behaviour on this forum, unless it be in defence of the forum or individual members of the forum. I'm familiar with the names you mention and I don't think their beliefs belong on a forum that prides itself on uncovering the truth of Madeleine McCann's disappearance under the name of 'The Complete Mystery of Madeleine McCann'.
As member of this forum by default the comments of other members reflects on me. I know this situation is preposterous in real terms but nonetheless that's how the forum is portrayed by those who wish to see it closed down. Not only do I object strongly to being grouped with opinions that I disagree with just because I'm a member of a particular forum, I'm even more opposed to seeing the forum degraded by unnecessary reference and/or links to cranks that contribute nothing towards solving this case. There is quite enough information relative to the case to chew over without bringing the bizarre thoughts of non-members into the equation.
Just my opinion of course - I appreciate some will disagree.

Re: Shining in Luz Commentary on Operation Grange
Yes, I see where you are coming from. I don't care much myself for forums that spend most of their time discrediting other forums. I don't work as part of a team and have always kept my own counsel. It's safest that way.
However someone else raised the topic of Hairy Bert and so I gave an account of my personal experiences with him. It's no reflection on any other forum, in fact quite the opposite.
And I think it's only fair for people to know what they are dealing with.

Re: Shining in Luz Commentary on Operation Grange
Thank you.
I agree that people should know who they are dealing with as regards this case - you can't be too careful. No harm in giving an account of ones personal experience of a peculiar undesirable element for a variety of reasons, I do however still feel that this forum is not the right place to expose the foibles - pardon the expression - of every strange being out there.
Those behind the scenes appear to be well aware of who's who so at least they can be relied on to maintain the integrity of the forum - within reason of course.
