I imagine the police turn to EVRD dogs to help SOCO rather than some jumped-up, no mark heart consultant, desperate to come up with any old nonsense to save his hide.

The Isle of Man has a very great deal to answer for.

For it was on this slightly mysterious island that once lived one of the most fabled hypnotists, mesmerists and occultists of our time: Josef Karma.

No-one has ever heard of him.

But he was without a shadow of a doubt the single most important influence behind the progress of Jimmy Savile from an eraly organiser of discos to become a serial paedophile, necrophiliac, and arguably one of the most powerful people in the land. The links below tell us a bit more about Karma and Savile, though both seemed inclined to play down their association.

I can't pin down exactly when Savile actually lived with Karma, and that was when I suspect Savile got most of his training in the arts of hypnotism, mind control, occult techniques and wizardry etc. - it could have been during the war year 1939-45, a period he has always been evasive about, or might have been in the late 40s or very early 50s - or possibly during all of these times.

Savile himself has written autobiographical notes about himself from time to time, I can't find any about Josef Karma excpet this quote:
