But who would vote for Gerry, that paragon of parenthood?

There's certainly a few vociferous supporters who would fall over themselves in their haste to vote for Gerry but of course they would have to be registered for voting in the appropriate constituency.

Milliband could parachute him into a 'safe' constituency of course. Gosh, it's taken quite a time to get going on his political ambitions, addressed a bunch of MPs well over five years ago, then nothing. Long climb back on the ladder to PM status. Why stop at MP?
Gerald McCann for Prime Minister?

Couldn`t think of anyone more qualified.
Probably better than Cameron himself as long as he can get out of the habit of flicking his ear, his nose and whatever else when he lies.

Gerry McCann has always given me the impression of harbouring an ambition to get into politics and having taken every opportunity to advance towards that goal.
From what we have seen of him so far, he certainly possesses certain qualities that should help him along in politics, namely he is ruthless, focused, is capable of making quick decisions and putting across his points quite well. Unfortunately for him, however, he's been found out to be a liar on numerous occasions and he is not at all likable.

None of this has stopped people becoming politicians in the past. (Maybe I'm just cynical in my old age.)

What's the ticket he would run on?
And politicians need political wives.
