I'm disorientated [after all this time ...]. Two different occasions? the same jeans and fleeces, but different T-shirts / polos???? Can anyone date these photos with precision?

Possibly just separated by a day or two - May 4 and May 5?

If you scroll down the pix on the above page there are some similar pix with dates.
Very remarkable and strange; different t-shirts; rest: same outfits, nots/booklet, lamp

But nowhere has it been reported they gave not one but two lamp-lit press conferences

Am I the only one who missed either the first or the second one?

Gerry's running costume...

Post by missbeetle on 19.07.14 7:19

Here we have Dr Mr Gerry McCann running his cardiologist's heart out in aid of missing people, 2nd April 2011.

He's wearing a white vest - known colloquially as a 'wife-beater' - all the better to showcase his Scottish brawn...

Or someone else's idea of manly brawn...?

He's really putting some effort into it - that right shoulder looks like it's about to pop out of it's socket.

Possibly because it looks like he is being chased by some sort of Sports Devil?

(don't worry, he might enjoy it)

Him in the scarlet and black.

Him in the black knee-high socks.

Him who can seemingly chase our heroic (almost floating) Gerald with his eyes closed?

I am intrigued as to why Gerry appears to be wearing a thumb ring on his right hand...

Gerry wins the battle of clothing-crotch-crease dignity, though.

He always does.

That's a different lamp as well I think Portia, top one lens is oval and bottom one is circular.  Top one looks like black handle and bottom is orange I would say.  Definitely different.
I take it cuddle cat is just out of the picture in the bottom one...

Yes, it's a bit odd as their hair and outer clothes are identical just different t-shirts underneath and I would say different torch.
Maybe they had a rehearsal or run-through and then changed?

Though from what i remember of the actual piece it looked pretty ad-hoc and not particularly rehearsed. Although I got the strong impression at the time that it was designed to look raw and unrehearsed, imo it just looked staged to me even at that point.

All in my own opinion, nothing stated as fact

The world's a stage...

Thank you ladies for some pithy observations there.

It would seem to me that the continuity girl wants sacking...!

Perhaps this is all just part of the mystery...?

I'd love to know who chooses the outfits...

The green t-shirt & polo photo is from the 'Sharon Teal 100%' speech, which GM read from the script which looked as though it reminded him to put his arm round KM.

Cheers for that, Doug D.

Can anyone place this photograph, though?

I have it dated at May 2007, but no more information than that.

Almost fiesta-ish in matchy-matchy clothing, highlighted by the colourful van behind them.

Kate's wearing a scarlet top with that lovely golden rosary necklace she wore back then.

Her face is a study in two halves : to the left, wrecked - to the right, enduring...

Those hair ribbons are wretched. Whose idea was that?

Gerry's shirt looks like something Sir Cliff Richard would wear.

This housewife is not a fan...!

Favourite trousers, Gerry...?

Post by missbeetle on 04.09.15 9:58

Here's Gerry in what look to be his Wider Agenda beige buttoned slacks :

...dated 23rd December 2007 and taken in Rothley outside church.

Those shoe-things are bloody awful, but I was interested in the versatility of his trou -

worn in Portugal in summer, England in the winter... Maybe he just likes them.

My thoughts only.

LOL @ Gerry photo'd twice with flashlights as if he's been out beating the bushes for his missing daughter when we all know he could barely be bothered.
