Truth does not come into it

Post by RIPM on 16.05.14 14:52

In the case of any missing person the first thing to establish is when the person was last seen, where and whether what you are being told adds up.

In this case Mrs McCann states emphatically the last photo of M was taken about 13.00 on Thursday 3 May 2007 and it was sunny.

This is the infamous poolside photo.

This is extremely important as it establishes whether M was alive on Thursday 3rd May.  Operation Grange has been made fully aware of doubts regarding this photo and the reasons why, by many sources including members of this forum.

As part of this investigation, SY elite team of 38 detectives, in collaboration with the ' world respected truth telling BBC' have made a programme called Crimewatch, where all speculation is cast aside and only true facts will be revealed.

Any and all evidence they have has been re-analysed and re-assessed, they have painstakingly investigated all relevant evidence of which the last photo of M is key, that cannot be in dispute by anyone.

Note Redwood's words.  "we have re-analysed and re-assessed which means not one, but at least two examinations.

As a result of this painstaking investigation, accepting nothing, looking at everything again, OG has drawn up a timeline,  this is after careful critical analysis and the timeline is absolutely key.

The timeline is shown on Crimewatch to millions of people, this is the result of months of intensive research between SY and the' highly trusted' BBC.

Everything in this programme has been vetted and approved by the British Police, this is the truth, these are the facts, restated more than once.

What are the public shown.   Kate McCann talking about the poolside photo, stating emphatically it was Thursday 3rd May and it was sunny.

Look at the bottom timeline as Redwood speaks.  There is the poolside shot at approximately 13.00hrs.

So Redwood is telling us he accepts Mrs McCanns version of events, they have spent 3 years so far and millions of pounds to achieve this.

Does anyone seriously believe a crack team of 38 elite detectives would not have checked the last photo of the most famous missing person in the world for authenticity.

But Redwood has told you he has and it was Thursday 3rd May about 13.00hrs and M was alive.

If anyone can prove that it was not Thursday 3rd May and it was not sunny, it would indicate a whitewash of immense proportions, he is clearly indicating you cannot, he has staked SY's reputation on it.

But consider for a moment if you had cast iron evidence, the weather wasn't sunny etc., who would you go to?....  yes operation G, who have already stated their position to millions and who are in charge of the cover up and you really expect Redwood to admit, yes I'm an idiot, I just believed what the Macs told me.

Do we sometimes forget the whitewash is for the great mass of the public, who trust in SY and the BBC and believe everything they see on the TV and in the newspapers?

However, it does seem strange that OG is re-analysing and re-assessing everything, except apparently statements made by Kate and Gerry and other tapas members and that could make a person very cynical as to the reason why.

Everything Redwood says is scripted, vetted and checked by SY`s large legal and PR department, there are no mistakes.

They are telling us, the general public, what they want us to believe.

Truth does not come into it.

The words in bold have all been spoken by DCI Redwood or the BBC spokesperson, nothing has been invented, unlike their tale.

What are your thoughts on Smithman?

ETA - the reason I ask is that the Crimewatch special focused on Smithman, and to me that indicates that they are looking in the right direction, especially considering that Redwood eliminated Tannerman at the same time.

Seeing Opsporing Verzocht, that's Crimewatch in Holland, with Anniko van Santen, who is nice to look at, and hearing DCI Redwood tell the public something extremely implausible, was the thing that re-awakened my interest for this case.

Opposed to those views of people who see the lack of credible information coming from Scotland Yard as proof of a whitewashing coverup, the things Redwood said which I couldn't believe as being true told me that Scotland Yard means business.

He was talking to his unofficial persons of interest.

RIPM:
‘Everything Redwood says is scripted, vetted and checked by SY`s large legal and PR department, there are no mistakes’.

So his comments about death (sorry, not alive, is that different?) that the Guardian picked up on and then chopped and changed till they got back to virtually what they quoted in the first place were scripted & planned?

I quite agree that they should have been, but everything has become so convoluted that I think virtually everyone has now ‘lost it’ as regards to what has previously been said or reported, that we have now entered the surreal world of Mulder & Scully.

Why was it only the Guardian that actually reported anything other than the 'official' Met statement?

Couldn't agree more. That "revelation moment" was a classic example of the PR influence.  It was no such thing - the "revelation" had occurred several years ago, before Redwood was put on the case.  The real revelation is why Team McCann didn't release the information to the police earlier and why the Smiths' identification of GMcC as Smithman was never mentioned.

What a great post and what a great line.

I do agree that Andy probably is counting on the masses not to doubt SY. As the conning couple counted on nobody doubting doctors.

I just cannot believe that all these recurring remarks from SY about the parents not being persons of interest, that they have right to know, that they need a solution for their suffering, are made to lull them in a false sense of security. I believe they are exactly meant as they were stated: parents nor T7 are being investigated.

Where do people get this "lull the McCanns into a false sense of security" idea from? I've not seen anybody suggesting that that is what SY are doing.

IMO Smithman is there as Redwood is covering all the angles.

The Smiths believe they may have seen Gerry on the street exactly as they described, but none of them saw the persons face, so their evidence is worthless in identification terms, so no danger to the Macs

Nobody so far has given a satisfactory answer as to why Mr Smith would involve his whole family including children, in an attempt to pervert the course of justice by lying.

We also need to remember, the e-fits did not originate from the Smiths, as they never saw his face.

But did anyone else see a man carrying a child in the street?

Highly unlikely but SY are paid to be thorough and cover all possibilities, so they put out a couple of different e-fits, one Martin Brunt one Gerry but say they are the same man.

Even better they do a film clip on Crimewatch and get a Gerry look-a-like.

Most who ring in will be cranks, but you never know.

If anyone was actually there on the night and identifies Gerry (very, very long odds) then SY call around personally and tell the callers they have checked Gerry thoroughly (see Crimewatch) and that they are mistaken.

The callers will be very sorry for wasting SY's valuable time.
SY will say, not at all, you are wonderful citizens.
SY ask for discretion as it is an on-going inquiry, the callers of course agree and another loop hole is closed.

In time, this will turn out to be one of the biggest cons the world has ever known and we are watching it on our TV.

Mr Smith did see GM .He saw his face was tanned and that he had diverted his eyes from the family to avoid saying hello.
He was  almost certain it was GM  he had seen. This evidence will be most valuable when a trial starts. It is not worthless.Big danger .
How do you know the e-fits did not come from the Smiths
