Tigger, I think nowadays it's really difficult to trust any source, any media. They might be objective concerning one affair and totally biased concerning the other. They might change the course whenever.

I follow few "independent" journalists of several nationalities who write on the Net and don't work for any papers, TV etc., seem to be independent for a long time and yet - you cannot take them at face value either. Just few days ago on of them who I really admired started to write so differently I started to wonder what had happened and who pays him now.

Brief message for those asking about my change of avatar :

changed recent days as a nod to the Russian Navy, which features in the news. Not a genuine sailor imo as only wearing the cap of the Northern Fleet and at a jaunty playful angle. I imagine this photo was taken by her boyfriend who is a sailor.

Cop will be back soon, a genuine police officer imo as she is wearing a proper uniform and chosen as a play on the word DOLL when I got fed up of being a wooden toy.

Chosen from google as told that it looked like me on my graduation photo of 25 years ago, if she had been wearing a mortar board!

Am not Russian [ though speak the language], do not own a sailor hat and if you add 20 years to the cop's face and make her a silver fox I could pass for her mother.   big grin

Not for the west, the EU, USA, UK and their illegal Neo-Nazi pals that want control, no it`s not.

Nor for Ukraine or the Crimea.
They are already talking about annexation and "Ethnic Cleansing" of the Crimea, and from there they would probably move to the whole of Eastern Ukraine.
At what point does the west step in and help in what may become a humanitarian disaster. ?

Short of warfare, what can US do ?
Likely embargo will be imposed on Russia, which the Russia probably won't care as the acquisition of territory is probably deemed worthwhile of the slight inconvenient of international embargo.
Cold War is not effective measure to prevent humanitarian disaster.

Blood and cadaver alerts
dismissed by UK Government

Retired DCI Gonçalo Amaral: "The English can always present the conclusions to which they themselves arrived in 2007. Because they know, they have the evidence of what happened - they don't need to investigate anything. All this is now a mere 'show off'."

Retired murder DCI Colin Sutton: "I would also like to make the point that Operation Grange was so restricted from the start as to be destined to fail."

Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley made public on national TV that Operation Grange is a complete fraud.

Ex-DCI Andy Redwood had a "revelation moment" on BBC's Crimewatch on 14th October 2013 when he announced that Operation Grange had eliminated the Tanner sighting - which opened up the 'window of opportunity', in accordance with their remit, to allow the fake abduction to happen.

Despite "irrelevant behaviour" from blood and cadaver dogs in the McCann's apartment, on Kate McCann's clothes, and in the car they hired three weeks after Maddie disappeared, Ex-Chief Inspector, Ian Horrocks, said: "The thought that Kate and Gerry McCann had anything to do with the death of their daughter is frankly preposterous."

Gerry McCann called for example to be made of 'trolls'. SKY News reporter Martin Brunt doorstepped Brenda Leyland on 2 October 2014. She was then found dead in a Leicester hotel room. Brenda paid the price. She paid with her life.

Ex-Deputy Chief Constable, Jim Gamble QPM, congratulated SKY reporter, Martin Brunt, on twitter for doorstepping Brenda Leyland on behalf of Gerry McCann.
