solved Madeleine McCann

Post by michael spendelow 06.11.13 19:58

Whilst there can surely be no one who does not feel for the McCann`s regarding their terrible loss of their daughter I do think that everyone seems to have lost sight of the one fact that is so plainly obvious, that is that it is entirely their own fault, no one elses but their own.

If they had left the children alone in this country as they did whilst on holiday then they would have been guilty of a criminal offence and had to appear in a criminal court, not a civil one, to answer the charge of leaving a child unsupervised " in a manner likely to cause unnecessary suffering or injury to health".

It beggars belief that two supposedly intelligent professional people, doctors no less, could be capable of exhibiting such crass stupidity.

Now we learn that provisional estimates of the cost of this investigation, so far, are put at approx £20,000,000  !

Enough is enough, just how long do these parents expect the tax paying public to pick up the tab for a situation that was completely  of their own making .

Whilst I do of course have sympathy for them, even taking into account it is a situation of their own making, it is time they accepted that no, they will not ever see the little girl again.

It is time to move on now and say enough is enough, no more funds are available, it would just be a case of throwing good money after bad.

The only person I have sympathy for is Madeleine, she was let down back then by those she should trust the most, and let down at present by those who refuse to acknowledge the truth and bring about justice.

Oh, and of course those who have laboured to get to the truth yet in doing so have ended up facing trials in court.

welcome2 Michael.

I recommend this report on the case. http://freepdfhosting.com/9099bef539.pdf

There's a lot more to this story than children allegedly being left unattended.

I have to say, that if Madeleine had really been abducted then I would expect her parents to never give up looking for her. I certainly wouldn't if she were my child.

But....those darn dogs....

Police need to discover what happened to Madeleine McCann for her own sake, and only secondary to that, for the sake of her parents. In the event that the McCanns do not know what happened to their daughter, then police need to discover what happened for the sake of any other children who may be in danger.

Hello Michael Spendelow and welcome.

A lot of people would agree about the large amount of money and effort that has been thrown at this case and not others.  But IMO there`s a lot more to this case than one missing child.

Does anyone actually ever give up hope of finding a missing person - No.   But the fact is the McCanns have sucked in and received millions from the public, expected the whole world to think they are more special than other people, that their child is more special than other children to the extent it has caused suspicion and put everyone`s hackles up.

To me, its not so much about Madeleine anymore - she is most probably dead/in heaven/at peace/reincarnated or whatever happens after dying.  Sadly billions of children die and every single one is someone`s loss and there are hearts never to be mended.  If she is alive and living with another family, she could well have adapted and be ok.  If she was stolen by paedos, she would probably be dead by now anyway.  The real tragedy would be if she was stolen to order for a rich paedo and was still alive and being abused.  But no one entered that apartment, the McCanns have told umpteen lies and acted suspiciously since day one.  I, like thousands of others, do not like being taken for an idiot so, as a taxpayer, I don`t mind money being spent on bringing a couple of devious liars to justice (that`s if the two police forces are not being led by corruption).

welcome Michael.

In the main, my sentiments are those of Woofer's but, as I believe that Madeleine was sidelined and scapegoated in her short life, I've always put her first in any consideration I've given to this case and she is foremost in my desire to see justice done.

If the perpetrator(s) of this heinous crime are brought to account in a criminal court of law, I will lament the time taken to apprehend them which has deprived London of some 30+ police officers whose services are sorely needed to fight crime in the capital.

However, I will not begrudge the sums spent to date on the investigation into this child's disappearance as it's my belief that some, at least, will be offset by recovery of the proceeds of what, IMO, is one of the biggest scams ever perpetrated on an unsuspecting public.

I hope you won't take it amiss if I observe that, while bold type has its place when drawing attention to certain words or highlighting certain phrases, reading a post such as yours is heavy going on the eyes and I hope you'll turn the bold tab off in future.

Iirc Maddie spent Christmas 2005 with her grandparents. The McCs came up for the New Year with the twins and probably picked her up then.
So it was a bit ..... to say that Christmas 2007  the first without her.

During the Mallorca holiday the Paynes used to take Maddie along so that Kate and Gerry could have quality time with the twins.

Maddie was 21 months old when the twins were born.

Maddie was in the crèche in Rothley, the McCanns had a nanny, Kate worked two mornings a week I believe.

Everything I see in photographs of this 'family' just feels 'off'. Something not quite right.

Tigger, I had not known about Christmas 2002 before.

I'd love to hear their reason for parting with their eldest daughter at this magical family time.

Just realized date had to be wrong! Thanks for the correction Tigger, I suddenly thought "Hang on, that's impossible!"

Maddie disappeared three years old in 2007. How can she spent Christmas with her grandparents in 2002? In the test tube?

I will try to find a link to the story about Christmas 2005. It is rather ambiguous but I personally feel that it meant that all the McCanns spent that Christmas with Eileen, not just Madeleine.

P.S. This one will do.

http://frommybigdesk.blogspot.co.uk/2009/12/madeleine-mccann-christmas-appeal-from.html

I take this as meaning that the family (including Madeleine) spent Christmas 2005 with Eileen. The next year (2006) they stayed at home but they came up for new year 2007.

I don't feel that it is safe to state categorically that Madeleine was not with her parents at Christmas 2005.

It's a matter of interpretation, but I see, like Anna Andress, a Christmas with her grandmother without her parents and siblings.

She said: "When she was two, Madeleine spent Christmas at my house and it was lovely.
"The next year, the family came up for New Year but on Christmas Day Madeleine called and said she'd got a kitchen from Santa. She was very excited and said 'I'm going to make some tea'.unquote

If the whole family had come, surely Eileen would have mentioned the excitement of having the twins and Madeleine, all her grandchildren with her for Christmas.
It would run more like this:  Madeleine was two when they came up for Christmas with the twins, etc.

Yes tigger, Madeleine was farmed out to friends and relatives as much as possible. There is a McCann interview where GM stumbles when asked about an aspect of life with M before the holiday.  I can't remember the exact words, he just manages to correct himself. It was something to do with M staying with other people..........this is going to bug me now until I find it!

Well. I have to admit I didn't think it would be long before the question would be asked of how much has been spent and that it was time to call it a day. It is an inordinate amount for one child who has disappeared.

But if we get to the Truth I really don't think any amount is too much.

Personally I can`t see anything wrong in Maddie spending time with other people; perhaps not at Xmas though.   As a mother of 3 children under 13 months myself, I could not have managed without the help of my family - they would take the eldest out while I coped with the twins and all the work associated with 3 babies.

Of course I understand that you need lots of help with young babies but we are talking about the kind of parents who think it's ok to leave three young children alone at night in strange surroundings for prolonged periods of time..... nearly every night of the holiday.

I get the impression that the McCann's like lots of 'me' time. Impossible when you have young children, as I expect  you know only too well!
