So if my earlier hypothesis is correct and crecheman is a fabrication by SY (I thought so at the time) then at least 1 of the people in the Tapas gang has been got at.

Very strange picture, taken on a child that seems to go into an entrance, and it does not appear to be a T7 apartment on the picture.
Who is this?
Who took the picture?

Haven't seen this pic before. Where did it come from? The child seems to be wearing a hat, like the one in the pool photo. Amelie's hat has a sort of flower pattern on it, you can see it if you enlarge the photo. A similar pattern is on the hat in this picture.  A pyjama top over a skirt or dress, strange combination of clothes.

Just had a quick look at the apartment block and found this picture, could it be the same type of flooring?

The fund has existed for 6.5 years and nothing was done against it and I imagine it was because that there was no concrete proof of the death. One month ago it was shot down, probably by a British Judge, who knows.
My theory is that if it was shot down, there must be a serious reason.
In such a cases, statements and confessions are not enough. The police could need the body also because it is a complicated case.
I suspect more and more that something concrete has being found, identified, that the police are sure about the identification.
A blanket, clothes, DNA are perhaps not enough, I don't know. I suspect more and I think of the fact that the PJ reopened the case because they had new evidence.
Could it be the body? And if the fund is shot down could be because she did not die in the hands of strangers and the parents knew she was dead.
We have to wait.

The photo comes from [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] in the category "Holiday photos",and yes it´s strange and I think the photo was taken in a very weird sitution, anyone know anything about the pyjama top?
In the explanation of the image on mccfiles it says "576-T R-90 Child in starry pajamas/shirt?"
The floor looks to have the same pattern, but I am unsure of the height of the skirting board, it looks lower on this picture,or?

I think this has been discussed in the past;IIRC it is actually a raincoat and it is a child standing outside the lift(?) on  the same floor as the Payne's apartment?

The raincoat seems appropriate for the weather experienced during most of the holiday.

Amelie is wearing something of a similar appearance in this photo.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

The collar of the garment in the other photo is more reminiscent to me of a pyjama jacket though.

Don't think so, Hicks, the pattern is subtly different and the tiles that form a kind of skirting board are also different.

One thing I notice here is the child's left arm gesture. Similar to many photos of Madeleine, as someone noted on another thread recently in relation to another picture.

Is there any information about the book "How to hide a Corpes" book that was found in the K & G villa on August 3rd 2007?
Did they have any explanation?

Was it Crimewatch where he used that fighting phrase also?  I must say I found him sincere when he said it, his demeanour was different to other interviews.

Whether you subscribe to the whitewash theory or not, if he is a sincere policeman in the middle of all of this, I feel for him.  Without doubt there are influences over the investigation and if sincere it must be one hell of a difficult job to do.

Time will tell.

I like to think that there are some policemen who go into the service for the right reasons.
And I would like to believe that Mr Redwood is one of them.

This is his Crimewatch appeal from May 2012.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
His appeal went out to anyone that was in PdL / Ocean Club between 28/04/2007 and 03/05/2007 on holiday or in residence AND YOU HAVE NOT BEEN SPOKEN TO BY POLICE IN UK OR PORTUGAL or any other info then call the number.
In the Crimewatch update he states he is pleased as they 60 calls.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Clearly there was no sign of Crecheman or any burglars or weird people hang about otherwise we would have known about it then. Fast forward to the Crimewatch appeal of October 2013 and that "revelation" moment.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
They spoke to this family amongst others, after looking at creche records and one particular father / child may have been who Jane Tanner saw. MET police officers took photographs of the man "dressed in the kind of clothes" (not the exact clothes) he is alleged to have worn.

Why would they need to dress this man up then take a photo? What is Redwoods team desperately trying to prove? My first question to this man is "where have you been since my appeal in 2012" and not shoehorn him into thinking he was Jane Tanners sighting.

It could be me being simple but why was KM allowed to go back to the "wooshed curtains" story when it has already been discredited? I agree with comments above they have told so many lies they can't remember which storyline to follow!

Why ever not, Mysterion, surely it would be just the same politely offering no comment to him as to any other interrogator.

The time to have been afraid of the police was prior to the 1984 PACE Act when they never actually interrogated prisoners, but merely made up their notes in the canteen. big grin
