I have been a MZZZZZ (Margaret Rutherford style) very firmly and categorically for years and I make a scene if they call me Mrs (as if that is flattering), grrr, don't get me started, I'm off for a coffee before I burn me bra

As comparatively recently as the early 1970s I was told that I must get a man (even a complete stranger off the street) to countersign my application to rent a TV.

I'll start a new topic if anyone is interested in talking about the old days.

When I get unwelcome phone calls, and the male on the other end of the phone asks me "is that Miss or Mrs". I reply (because cold calls really rub me up the wrong way notlistening

) I reply, "why do you ask females if they are a Miss or a Mrs, when they don't ask males if they are Master or a Mr"

I actually know what Jon was paid for here, I worked in the building and he came and spoke to use about how media city was created, he actually helped develop the entire concept which would explain the consultancy work before his full time wage there.

and the bar on the 7th is a 'members' bar but anyone can wander in and have some food, its pretty piss poor ut they do a decent breakfast
