Nuclear bombs stored all over Europe?

Those silly things are still there’: US nukes stored in Netherlands

Around 22 US nuclear weapons are still being stored in the Netherlands, former Dutch Prime Minister Ruud Lubbers told Dutch TV. WikiLeaks had previously leaked information that US missiles were being kept there as late as 2009.

Lubbers, who was President of the Netherlands from 1982 to 1994, said the nuclear weapons were kept underground in purpose-built strongrooms at the Volkel airbase in Brabant.

“I would never have thought those silly things would still be there in 2013,” he said in an interview for a documentary on National Geographic. He added that to his understanding of “military thinking,” keeping the missiles there was “absolutely pointless.”

The Dutch military has so far refrained from commenting on the former Prime Minister’s remarks, though the presence of nuclear weapons on Dutch soil had long been suspected. WikiLeaks confirmed their existence in 2009 when it published thousands of US diplomatic cables on its whistleblowing site. A 2007 report included in the leak said US nuclear weapons had been stored in a vault underneath the Volkel airbase since the 1960s, the era of the Cuban missile crisis.

The leaks suggested that some 200 bombs were being stored across Europe in Belgium, Germany Turkey and the Netherlands.

The publication of this classified data was condemned by European and US politicians alike as "illegal and dangerous.
unquote - from Russia Today.

Errm it's not a big country - and how many bombs exactly? Have the US paid for parking them here, there and everywhere?
Do they in fact remember where they are or have they forgotten and how good exactly is that storage?

Outrageous and freaking-out frightening, Tigger,
On top, most of my family lives quite close to that ... and none of them ever knew.

Same thought PeterMac, and have you seen those filmed reports from Chernobyl of recent times.
Beautiful green trees, bunny rabbits hopping around, deer as sprightly as you would ever hope to see out in the wild.
People still growing their vegetables, those who refused to leave or went back.
Scientific analysis (sorry can't find references but have seen and read) showing that there is no more deformity in animal life / birth defects etc. than anywhere else, possibly even less.
Makes you wonder.....

I can't find the reference at the moment but there was a man who survived Hiroshima, and made his way home - to Nagasaki !
He survived that as well, and did not develop any of the predicted conditions.
One of the not necessarily frivolous explanations is that Nagasaki acted as radiation therapy for whatever Hiroshima caused.

We have to remember that one of the possible drivers of genetic mutation, and therefore the engine for evolution and the survival of the fittest may be background radiation

Just done a very quick google, I typed in "Chernobyl in recent years". There's film and scientific analysis somewhere but this at least shows the original forecasts are open to question.

Blood and cadaver alerts
dismissed by UK Government

Retired DCI Gonçalo Amaral: "The English can always present the conclusions to which they themselves arrived in 2007. Because they know, they have the evidence of what happened - they don't need to investigate anything. All this is now a mere 'show off'."

Retired murder DCI Colin Sutton: "I would also like to make the point that Operation Grange was so restricted from the start as to be destined to fail."

Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley made public on national TV that Operation Grange is a complete fraud.

Ex-DCI Andy Redwood had a "revelation moment" on BBC's Crimewatch on 14th October 2013 when he announced that Operation Grange had eliminated the Tanner sighting - which opened up the 'window of opportunity', in accordance with their remit, to allow the fake abduction to happen.

Despite "irrelevant behaviour" from blood and cadaver dogs in the McCann's apartment, on Kate McCann's clothes, and in the car they hired three weeks after Maddie disappeared, Ex-Chief Inspector, Ian Horrocks, said: "The thought that Kate and Gerry McCann had anything to do with the death of their daughter is frankly preposterous."

Gerry McCann called for example to be made of 'trolls'. SKY News reporter Martin Brunt doorstepped Brenda Leyland on 2 October 2014. She was then found dead in a Leicester hotel room. Brenda paid the price. She paid with her life.

Ex-Deputy Chief Constable, Jim Gamble QPM, congratulated SKY reporter, Martin Brunt, on twitter for doorstepping Brenda Leyland on behalf of Gerry McCann.
