JIMMY SAVILE plus Many others involved in the abuse scandal

Post by tasprin on 02.05.13 21:16

Please read this report by from the Independent, by Yasmin Alibhai-Brown. She really is to be commended for her belief in and support of one of Hall's victims. The MSM has played down Hall's crimes (they did much the same with Savile), he was a loathsome and dangerous predator. His mates were also involved in the abuse.

Independent
How I exposed Stuart Hall's abuse: Yasmin Alibhai-Brown on the anonymous letter that kick-started the sex assault investigation

The Independent columnist tells how an anonymous letter from a reader claiming abuse at the hands of the veteran broadcaster launched the inquiry that ended with his admission of guilt in court today

Logical, Captain !

Oh..... otherwise, he would not have pleaded guilty, no wonder.
He has been well advised by his lawyer.
Because of his age I doubt they will imprison him.
We'll see.
Anyhow, his reputation is completed ruined and this is worst punishment than death.
He'll go down in history as the oldest person to be registered on the Sex-Offender Register.

BBC is just so full of perverts who had been conferred one kind of title or another for excellent service to the industry....when it is the industry that affords them the shield for so long - what a twisted irony.

Well I was dumbfounded when i read that this perv was given an old medical room at the BBC where he entertained ladies. What the hell was going on at the BBC and why is nobody who was in charge at the time having THEIR collars felt?

Abuse of adults and children and the taxpayers' money. No wonder this perverted barsteward was laughing at the people and all the way to the bank.

Tasprin thanks for posting that piece.

The description of the schoolgirl being harmed by this piece of scum and his "friends" is heartbreaking isn't it.

How many of us would have been proud to be told that our daugher was showing such talent that she could make something of herself in journalism and take her along thinking we were doing our best for them. Shows DO NOT TRUST ANYBODY WITH YOUR CHILDREN, but we can say that now, back then things weren't printed and discussed as they are now.

Taking the Pee, laughing and doing their worst and getting away with it these perverts were. BUT not now.

What a complete and utter disgrace this person is, whining when he was arrested and saying that the abused were lying.

The judge apparently said that when he returns for sentencing "all options are open". Let's hope the perv gets at least 10 years and that he ends his days where he belongs.

Edited to add WELL DONE that reporter.

Let's hope the Judge sentenced him to life in prison never to be released. They should leave him to rot in prison.
It was reported that as many as a dozen more assault charges, including one of rape would not be taken into account after he'd pleaded guilty. It seems some of the sexual assaults were more than just groping. His lawyer must have made a plea bargain with the Judge or he could have ended up facing more than one charge of rape. Disgusting pig, pretending all these years, and still had the gall to deny until he'd no choice. It was between admitting guilt to the lesser charges or face more serious charges with heavier punitive consequences.

Savile and Hall and some of the other arrests are of similar age group and the serial offence mostly took place in the 70s 80s so that must have been the culture back then in the BBC. All these offenders must have known about one another's activities. Maybe they even boasted about it amongst themselves. Men in position and power who preyed on vulnerable young girls and forcing themselves onto the girls, yet this disgusting culture was kept secret for so many years, freaking unbelievable.

Since this is the culture back then in BBC surely it must be hot gossip in the workplace that the place is rife and teaming with celebrity paedo****yet no one spoke up for the victims. There must be lowly paid waiting staff or cleaning staff or admin staff or whatever who must have witnessed the going on so I find it hard to believe no one ever thought of reporting these perverts to the Police. BBC past executives of that period should face inquiry - they have questions to answer whether or not they have a part in the cover up.

It's worth noting that unlike a self-proclaimed child protection expert, Yasmin Alibhai-Brown hasn't been patting herself on the back or forging a pseudo career for getting Stuart Hall investigated. She kept quiet until he pleaded guilty. I suspect that had she not spoken out today, said child protection expert would have taken credit for Hall being brought to book.

Well done to Yasmin Alibhai-Brown. If not for her Hall would have escaped justice as according to Police he wasnt under their radar. So it begs the question what does it take for someone to come under the Police radar. If the victim were to write directly to the Police anonymously would they have investigated it. I am just wondering whether any victim had anonymously written to the Police in the past.

http://order-order.com/2013/05/02/stuart-halls-lawyers-used-leveson-to-threaten-media/

from the article:

"Deploying Brian seems to be a uniform tactic for the rich and powerful to try and hide their misdemeanours these days."

So true I believe. The people are sick of it. Cameron will lose next election unless he starts listening -their defeat in the South Shields election where they came third behind UKIP and the LibDems lost their deposit should be telling them that the people are NOT HAPPY with the way things are going.

They all seem to think that Parliament is there for their convenience and enjoyment of all things luxurious at our expense. Well it is, that cannot be denied but it has been going on for too long and they will pay the price for their total disregard for the people (plebs) of this country.

Stuart Hall's money and home should be confiscated and proceeds given to his victims I believe. Living the life of luxury whilst earning a living from the licence fee payers and abusing vulnerable people. NOT LAUGHING NOW is he. Shocking.

Stuart Hall OBE, another abuser "honoured"and yet a lot of people still look up to anyone with a gong/title. Ya couldn't make it up.

BBC told to remove work by pedophile sculptor Eric Gill

THE BBC has been urged to remove from its headquarters a figure of a naked boy, created by a sculptor who sexually abused two of his daughters.

His 1932 statue Prospero And Ariel, from Shakespeare's play The Tempest, stands on the BBC's Broadcasting House in London as a metaphor for broadcasting.

I was totaly amazed when I read the artical, Why would the BBC have commisioned this statue? even if it was 1932, was this giving a nod, nod, wink, wink to some members of staff?

Paedophile is not sent to prison because his family might suffer if he is sent to jail.

That's it then, all convicted crims should be released if they have a family. What utter nonsense is going on in this country?

Well done to YAB for getting this going........if this is not the rape allegation which was not pursued, it was something akin to it and much more than indecent assault. Pain and bleeding....... his age should not be a factor in whether or not he goes to prison, he has only spent the past decades outside of a prison thanks to his money and fame.

How the hell can his family stand by him, having discovered this about him?

There might be a law which would allow the scumbag's victims to include the home in any law suit if it was handed over less than a year or so. Not sure but if it is recent I don't think he would get away with that. At least I fervently hope he wouldn't.

Twenty years min. I would give him. I originally thought ten but having read that he deserves twenty imo.

Just shows what a devious cunning person he is, I hope he rots in his cell or better stil let him roam free with the other prisoners. This is from the artical;

As pointed out by the victims' solicitor, that property transfer may be legally deemed a fraud on Hall's creditors; and so his half of the value of the property in addition to any other assets may be available for any compensation awarded
.

Mr Collins warned the change in ownership will make it difficult for his victims to make a financial claim against Hall because there is no guarantee he will be able to pay any compensation awarded.

He said: ‘Very often we find houses being transferred, moneys being sent overseas, you name it and it’s done. It’s then very difficult to unravel because quite often we have to go to the High Court to get a freezing order to stop it.

'The victims will have to convince a judge the money has been transferred simply to defeat a civil claim.’

He also warned there was very little victims could do to stop their abuser from securing their financial position until they have been found guilty in a criminal court.

He said: ‘Victims are prevented from taking any action to protect their own positions because it might compromise any prosecution.

'A common defence practice in criminal trials is of the defence to accuse the victim of making up allegations to try to get “at my client’s money”.

‘Mr Abuser can often be given advice telling him that if he goes down he is probably going to get sued by the victims therefore it might be a good idea to “arrange your affairs”.

‘In this case the victims have a cast iron case to bring against Stuart Hall but if he has transferred all his assets he will turn around and say “sorry, but I can’t pay you”.’

yes I agree I also think he is a devious cunning git.

If the house is worth around 2 million and a judge says it cannot be used in any payments to his victims it would be a very good gesture if his wife sold up and gave Hall's half to the victims?

She would still have a mill to buy a new house.

Not read anything about it since, but it makes you wonder how long the BBC have allowed this abuse to carry on, on their premises.

"How's about this then"

Jimmy Savile’s nephew , Guy Marsden , remembers attending “Showbiz Parties” at large private houses round London in the 1970s run by BBC executives with his Uncle Savile. At these “Showbiz Parties” attended by Politicians , Judges , BBC Executives , Radio One DJ s and celebrities Children as young as 9 , mostly from Islington Care Homes, were raped and tortured. There was also the production of Child pornography at these “Showbiz Parties” using BBC equipment and Staff.

Foreward planning or what?

Depends when the transfer took place. Pre or Post arrest. Proactive asset protection may be safe from judgement creditors, but reactive asset protection will not place his assets out of reach from judgement creditors. The court can order claims to be recovered from his spouse from this type of transfer.

If the wife has any dignity she should refuse that kind of arrangement as respect to the victims.
Surely she must be replused by Hall.

Just imagine - while still married to her, he was going around sexually assaulting underaged girls and messing up young girls riding on the back of his position fame and wealth behind her back, then coming home to share her bed, and she hasn't a clue she was sleeping with a paedo**** how replusive is that?

The discovery should make his wife's blood boil or curl. And so logically speaking she shouldn't want that kind of asset bought with dirty money.

I really do feel sorry for his family.

Several of Hall's former BBC colleagues sought to distance themselves from him on Friday. Some said he was "a nuisance" with women, whom he would invite to an old medical room near where the BBC filmed Look North, later renamed BBC North West.

"It was common gossip that Stuart Hall used the room for assignations," said Gyles Brandreth, the broadcaster and former Conservative MP. "I described the atmosphere then as pretty sleazy, but I don't think anyone thought the girls were unwilling or under age."

Brandreth described in his 2009 diaries, Something Sensational to Read in the Train, how he visited the Manchester studios occasionally in the early 70s, where his wife, Michèle Brown, was a continuity announcer and newsreader.

Paul Jackson, the former entertainment director who worked at BBC Television Centre in the 70s, said: "I think the fame and the fans it brings with it, coupled in those days with a suddenly sexualised society, led a lot of people to believe that anything goes.

"We [were] all swinging, in both senses, and there's nothing wrong with that, they thought then. I'm not really saying that some of these things were in any way justifiable. But equally it is hopeless to try and apply today's mores to a very different time."

The broadcaster Charlie Lambert worked alongside Hall at BBC North West Tonight in the late 1980s. Lambert said he was "appalled and very very shocked" at Hall's admission and that there was no sign of his "dark side" when the pair worked together.

"He had his dressing room but it wasn't closeted away, it wasn't as if he had a secret den in another part of the building. There was no attitude of laissez faire, it was quite a cheerful newsroom. He was always cheerful and jovial, looking on the light side of life. He was quite a big character but not in a sinister way."

Lambert added: "I was never aware of any dark side. When Stuart made his statement on the steps of the court protesting his innocence I, like other people, thought it must be true. I was absolutely devastated by the announcement yesterday but also realised that what he had said was a complete lie."

His friends and colleagues will now start to disassociate themselves from him and leave in drove.
When he kicks the bucket (not sure how much longer his heart can withstand this) he will have very few friends left (if at all) to attend his funeral.

The original article text stated:

“Then, having groomed her, she alleges, he got her drunk and started the abuse. She kept going back. His mates, including an MP who is now a Peer, she claims, helped Hall with his filthy hobby.”
Seems the Independent did some really quck editing, more to this than meets the eye.

Who asked the Independent to edit the artical?

Was this plea barganing to protect his mates the other vile abusers?

A while back, we discussed the claims of two women who independently claimed that Savile had abused them in Satanic-style rituals, with candles, people wearing masks and swearing Satantic oaths etc.

Some thought they vere fantasising. But this report from December 2012 tends to suggest that they were not:

Pair jailed over witches' coven 'ritualistic' sex abuse

RYAN HOOPER FRIDAY 14 DECEMBER 2012

Two men accused of being part of a paedophile ring involving murdered “witch” Peter Solheim have been given lengthy jail sentences for their part in “ritualistic, sickening” sex abuse of young girls.

Jack Kemp and Peter Petrauske spent years tormenting their female victims, one said to be as young as three. Both men had denied any involvement in the abuse, claiming they were victims of a witch hunt [!! - T.B.] or conspiracy.

But a jury at Truro Crown Court dismissed their protestations, convicting the pair of a string of offences dating back to the 1970s, as well as finding Kemp guilty of several more recent sexual assaults unconnected to Petrauske.

Jailing Kemp for 14 years and Petrauske for 18, Judge Graham Cottle told them: "The offences range from the extremely serious to the truly horrifying.

"You are two of the surviving members of a paedophile ring, together with others whose names have repeated frequently in this trial who were members of a ring that operated in Falmouth (Cornwall) in the 1970s and 1980s.

"I'm satisfied that you have both had a life-long sexual interest in young, female children.

"It (the trial) has featured ritualistic, sickening abuse of young, young children. The scars left on (two victims, who cannot be named for legal reasons) are so obvious that it would seem extremely unlikely that either of them have any real prospect of recovery.

"Finally, the truth about your lies and your undoubted propensities has caught up with you."

Petrauske was convicted of rape, aiding and abetting an attempted rape, and indecent assault. Judge Cottle sentenced him to 18 years in prison.

Kemp was guilty of 10 sexual offences including indecent assault and indecency with a child, and was handed a 14-year term.

Both men were given a discount because of their age, the judge telling Petrauske he was likely to die in prison.

Petrauske was said to be the "high priest" of a witches' coven in St Ives, Cornwall, and ordered the girls to carry out his sick fantasies. The court heard Kemp videoed the abuse, but also took part in the assaults, along with friends Solheim and Stan Pirie - a notorious paedophile who died in jail following his conviction for sex abuse in the mid-2000s.

The duo's victims gave harrowing evidence from behind a screen during the three-week trial. They said they were then abused by their tormentors, before being given money and sweets to buy their silence.

The abuse was only investigated further by police last year when Kemp was arrested in connection with another incident, causing rumours to spread
around his home town of Falmouth and prompting the alleged victims of the historic offences to contact detectives.

Speaking after the case, Detective Constable Rick Milburn praised the bravery of the pair's victims, adding: "It was truly horrific abuse, the worst my officers and myself have ever seen. It was truly distressing for everyone involved.

"The only way to describe what these victims have been through is that it has destroyed their lives.

"I think this shows the judge has no tolerance for crimes of this horrific nature.

"I have no doubt Kemp and Petrauske were key players (in child sex abuse in Cornwall)."

Prosecutor Jason Beal said some of the assaults took the form of rituals with the young girls' wrists tied.

Mr Beal said: "(One victim) was taken to a house where pagans were present, Jack Kemp was present and 'German Pete' (Petrauske) was also there.

"She was given alcohol, told to dance in front of the camera, and take her clothes off."

When Petrauske was arrested last year, detectives discovered daggers, sheets, candles and a mask, the court heard. He immediately mentioned the names Kemp and - in a dramatic twist in the case - Solheim.

The latter was a 56-year-old parish councillor whose body was found five miles off the Lizard Peninsula, Cornwall, by fishermen on June 18, 2004. He had been drugged and mutilated by a machete or an axe.

His partner, Margaret James, was jailed for 20 years in July 2006 for plotting the brutal killing after becoming jealous when Solheim had an affair, though police are still searching for those who helped James.

But counsel for the defendants told the jury that Petrauske and Kemp played no part in the abuse.

Sean Brunton, defending Petrauske, compared his client with the victim of "a witch-hunt".

He told the jury how "medieval justice" was used to torture and kill people who behaved strangely or differently as soon as others began to point the finger or accusation.

"Don't fall into the trap of thinking: 'Who does he (Petrauske) think he is? He's obviously a weirdo'," Mr Brunton said.

"While those who don't follow the crowd are criticised, it's not yet illegal to be a weirdo.

"All a defendant can do in a case like this is to say: 'I didn't do it. I have never done it. I will say it again, I didn't know them (the alleged victims)."'

Jo Martin, for Kemp, said the case against her client was one of "no smoke without fire", after the jury had been told of Kemp's previous convictions for sexual offences several decades ago.

"You cannot convict someone solely on previous behaviour or his associations," she said. "That would be entirely wrong."

Kemp said he was the victim of a conspiracy.

The public gallery was packed with the defendants' family members and supporters, some of who walked out as the jury began to return their verdicts.

They returned to court for sentencing this afternoon, with Kemp and Petrauske showing little emotion as Judge Cottle handed down the jail terms.

He told the pair: "You carried out appalling, indescribable offences against defenceless children.
