Woman leaves children home alone to go clubbing

10:00am Friday 5th April 2013

A MUM from Leigh faces jail for going clubbing in London and leaving her three young children at home alone.

The woman, 40, left her property early with her boyfriend on Saturday, March 16, before ending up in a nightclub in New Kent Road, south east London.

Later there was trouble at the venue and the mother was quizzed at Peckham police station, Southend magistrates court was told. Met police officers soon became concerned about her children and contacted Essex police who visited her home.

There were lights on inside, but nobody answered the door.

It was only when officers threatened to force their way in that the woman, who has not been named for legal reasons, admitted her children, aged twelve, six and four, were inside - without a babysitter.

Lesley Chipps, prosecuting, said: “She admitted going shopping in Stratford and then being taken to a hotel by her boyfriend before going to a nightclub.

“She later agreed that the 12-year old was not suitably old enough to look after the others.”

The woman pleaded guilty to the charges of wilfully assaulting, neglecting, abandoning, exposing or ill treating under age children, which was likely to cause them unnecessary suffering or injury to health.

The court was told that upon entering the messy property, police found chicken under the grill, clothes strewn across the floors and a mobile phone the children were told only to use if they needed to contact her.

Mrs Chipps said the woman told police she was the only one who had keys to the property, and she was planning to spend the night away because she had packed an overnight bag.

She now faces up to six months in jail.

In mitigation Verity Watson said her client was “absolutely devastated by her actions.”

She will be sentenced at Basildon Crown Court in three weeks.

This is disgraceful!
A three year old is mature enough to babysit.
We know that, because we have been told that "responsible parents" allow it.
So it must be right.

Can we contact her solicitor and point out what he can say in mitigation ! ! !

No and clubbing rather than tapas and wine.

Not skinny and have big boobs then....pity!
Certain templates of the Mccanns were put to use ie leaving an older child to babysit the younger two is within boundary of responsible parenting according to the Mccanns. She should have pointed out to the Police that this is gerry's legacy, and ask the Police how come the mccanns weren't charged for children neglect when one of theirs has come to harm because of their action.

Blood and cadaver alerts
dismissed by UK Government

Retired DCI Gonçalo Amaral: "The English can always present the conclusions to which they themselves arrived in 2007. Because they know, they have the evidence of what happened - they don't need to investigate anything. All this is now a mere 'show off'."

Retired murder DCI Colin Sutton: "I would also like to make the point that Operation Grange was so restricted from the start as to be destined to fail."

Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley made public on national TV that Operation Grange is a complete fraud.

Ex-DCI Andy Redwood had a "revelation moment" on BBC's Crimewatch on 14th October 2013 when he announced that Operation Grange had eliminated the Tanner sighting - which opened up the 'window of opportunity', in accordance with their remit, to allow the fake abduction to happen.

Despite "irrelevant behaviour" from blood and cadaver dogs in the McCann's apartment, on Kate McCann's clothes, and in the car they hired three weeks after Maddie disappeared, Ex-Chief Inspector, Ian Horrocks, said: "The thought that Kate and Gerry McCann had anything to do with the death of their daughter is frankly preposterous."

Gerry McCann called for example to be made of 'trolls'. SKY News reporter Martin Brunt doorstepped Brenda Leyland on 2 October 2014. She was then found dead in a Leicester hotel room. Brenda paid the price. She paid with her life.

Ex-Deputy Chief Constable, Jim Gamble QPM, congratulated SKY reporter, Martin Brunt, on twitter for doorstepping Brenda Leyland on behalf of Gerry McCann.
