Quoth the QC:

Post by Guest on 17.02.13 11:18

A definite little gem, if you knew what to look for: the QC's comments on the behaviour of the bereaved family of poor ms Steenkamp, killed by her boyfriend Pistorius the other day.

She said something along the lines of how much she admired the dignified behaviour of that family, having just seen their child killed.
How understanding and forgiving their attitude. An example to others.

A very polite way of expressing: Up yours, dearies.

Was this Dame Helena Kennedy on Andrew Marr? I didn't see the programme as I had a lie in.

That's right. She was very, very clear, her meaning not to be misunderstood: I consider the behaviour of this bereft family of ms Steenkamps' as exemplary.

As a professional, as a QC, Dame Helena cannot have been unaware of the hate and smear legal campaigns against Dr Amaral and mr Bennett.
