I saw that too, Portia. And it's actually repeated beneath the first photograph: "Small but easy to find: The Stick-N-Find stickers are the perfect for solution for those of us who find it difficult to keep track of our various possessions, valuables and loved ones"
At first I took it as a "tongue in cheek", then as a "read between the lines", then as a comfortable/acceptable replacement for the chipping of our kids, which was proposed some years ago, after we were all forced to chip our pets ...

However, there is another article in the Daily Mail by Stephen Glover published 7th October 2012 which I found very interesting and in particular this comment he made on the celebs who are baying for press regulation. Here's a snippet which jumped off the page at me.
'If Messrs Grant, Law and Coogan had never employed a PR or sought favourable publicity, I would have some sympathy with them. But the truth is that their careers have received an enormous boost from Press coverage. They want as much of it as they can get — as long as it is on their own terms.'

That could also be applied to the McCanns in my opinion. They too employed a powerful PR person and like the above celebs they successfully sued and were compensated. The McCanns may not have had careers that depended on the media but they do have a Fund which received an enormous boost from positive press coverage that was sought as well as compensation from the media.
So, in a nutshell, I don't think these people have the right to demand the press be regulated by the state. The system worked for them.
All in my opinion.
SPOT ON These People make me sick every one of them

From the bits of the Leveson report about the McCanns I read, Leveson didn't make any mention of the McCanns' use of various PR agents. He even failed to mention Christopher Meyer's claim that he'd been in contact with the McCanns' PR person from early on offering the PCC's support. This would have made a huge difference to the narrative

There are decent, honest and canny police and journalists who may just deliver.
YES I am with you on that

I see Leveson is getting the wider agenda message across down under

Agree, Levenson was highly selective re the McCs who were by no means the ordinary couple caught up in a media maelstrom as they portayed themselves to the inquiry. They began it and they fed it assiduously with their PR machine, press conferences and media appearances. An extremely litigious pair, they were well compensated when things went wrong for them and the Portugese fought back against the smears with unhelpful leaks about the investigation. Levenson was not only blind to all of that, he ignored testimony which informed that what was being printed in the press was based on facts as they were known at the time. He failed to probe their relationshiip with Brooks et al, and found nothing incongrous in KMcCs claims that she felt violated when her diary was published in the NOTW, when she was perfectly happily to have her book serialised by the Sun. Such short memories all round.
All in all, the McCs are a very poor representation of ordinary members of the public who suffered at the hands of the media. Yes, they did, but there are so many grey areas which could have been more closely looked at to determine what was done with their sanction and what not. Who were all the "sources close to the couple" who fed the media? KMcC admits in her book they gave the green light to their relations to brief the media what were basically smears against the PJ. In the case of Christopher Meyer, it was irrefutably clear that the McCs had been offered assistance by the PCC which could have quickly stopped the articles causing their distress but equally clear that they chose the somewhat slower but far more lucrative legal route. No, not clear cut by any means and GMcC needs to take an honest look at his own part in the situation they found themselves in, instead of telling the nation they must back his call to have freedom of the press curtailed by government.

IMO all correct what you're saying, Monty Heck. Now the question proposes itself: why would a senior judge, with brains and experience as one may expect, seem to be so ignorant about these "details"?

Does anyone know if Leveson is a freemason?

Talking about Freemasons, I was doing a search on the internet as I've been given some very old china teddybear figurines, I was trying to find out the origin of them, and these website items popped up amongst hundreds of others of no interest to me, I couldn't believe what I was seeing -

http://www.alibaba.com/product-free/111560828/Masonic_Teddy_Bear.html

http://www.alibaba.com/product-free/111560764/Masonic_Teddy_Bear.html
Are children indoctrinated into the Freemason's way of life at an early age, or do adults give these freaky teddybears to each other when they've been accepted into each stage of Freemasonry.

This imo is sick. Why a teddy bear should be dressed with a blindfold and a noose around it's neck is beyond me, making something very sinister all warm and fluffy.

Maybe Saddam Hussein was a mason too?
But then, he wasn't blindfoldend, or was he?

This may be a coincidence, but ... I clicked on the alibaba masonic teddybears address some time ago, went to do other things, came hours later back to my computer and the site was still loading :-(
