Professor David Wilson on This Morning today
Did anyone else see Professor David Wilson, criminal profiler or whatavyer, on This Morning today? He was analysing the body language of Ian Huntley and Karen Matthews and said, whilst comparing the way Karen and Kate held their daughters cuddly toys that - and I quote - "Kate McCann is innocent".
So there you have it, it's time for us to go home.

Innocent of what?

I have a lot of respect for Prof. David Wilson but I suspect who would have said Savile was innocent if he was still alive

Well, he has an IQ of 155 according to the show I watched 2 nights ago, so he must be right

Or is it merely that Karen Matthews isn`t that good an actress.
KM had it off pat, particularly with the balconey scene.

If he thinks Huntley's interview with Jeremy Thompson revealed a lot, what about Jane Tanner's with Richard Bilton?

He's overlooking the fact that Cuddlecat wasn't Maddie's toy, imo it was a prop and had only been in her vicinity shortly before she died or perhaps only afterwards. No way was that a cuddly toy Maddie took with her everywhere.
So it had cadaver odour on it, but we don't have to believe Jon Corner when he said the toy was 'reeking of Madeleine's DNA'.
Kate was quite happy dragging that thing along on all her photo opportunities. It had nothing to do with Maddie and everything with the rather quick appearance of www.cuddlecat.co.uk. Imo of course.

Always remember that in a trial involving two top QCs with IQs off the scale, by definition one of them is wrong.candyfloss wrote:Well, he has an IQ of 155 according to the show I watched 2 nights ago, so he must be right
In fact that is true of the legal profession in general -
exactly half the time they are wrong.
Now apply that to your doctor, and see who you prefer to trust.
Apply it to the Police, gas fitters, electricians, nurses, and everyone else.
For them only 100% accuracy is acceptable.
But for Lawyers ?
Re: Professor David Wilson on This Morning today
I just applied that to my French doctor and she's dangerously wrong 95% of the time :-(

There's a coincidence! So's mine and one specialist he sent me to consult was 100% wrong.

this is only a short clip I could find. The full transcript of the 2009 documentary can be found on McCannfiles (tears, lies etc) but the video is no longer there.
Prof. Canter too, lauds KM to the sky, innocent, innocent! Hmm. Speak to cuddlecat is my advice.

He wont be the first expert who got it so wrong neither will he be the last!
He will join a long list of others whose mental acumen is lacking for their job.
What I am more keen to know is: why this timing?
Who wheeled him out to use mccanns as detractors from the real news?
Missing child has been put on the back burner ever since paedophile and politician's affair-gate has been enthralling the public, with its beyond belief, blood culling suspense, and it's far from end of show yet.
so why are the mccanns thrown into the mix in the midst of current hostile climate? Are they commercial break time?
Again, why is it always kate who is singled out?

I was just about to post something similar and you beat me to it. I was also wondering why now, that Kate McCann has been pronounced in a very forceful way by Prof David Wilson that "Kate McCann is INNOCENT". How does he know she is innocent, does he know something the rest of us don't know. Was it just a matter of the McCanns saying "we didn't do it guv" that him and his ilk including Lorraine Kelly, Philip Schofield and all the other McCann's "lick ass brigade" completely ignore the findings of Eddie and Keela and so many other things that don't add up.
Or was his job on the line if he didn't conform to the ITV propaganda merchangts.

It's that broken bed, the f...... t......., the frequent 'fury and furious' in the book - it's possibly a late editing effort.

Diagnosing in most trades/professions takes a degree of intellect and an awful lot of trial and error - try this, hope it works, try that, see what happens, oh dear that didn`t work let`s try another way. Not so for bomb disposal peeps.

There must be some reason why this has now been brought out at this precise time. After all why was Kate McCann even mentioned in the piece regarding Karen Matthews, if is was a sensitive issue with the McCanns, Karen Matthews need not have even been mentioned, but there was a reason to state that Kate Mccann is innocent. Could it be that there is so much stuff on internet sites at the moment regarding the forthcoming trials with TB and Amaral and the SY review that people are getting very nervous and jumpy with what may be revealed in the forthcoming months, so it's a case of get the word in first of "innocent" to enforce it into people's brains before the "sh*t" hits the fan.

Re: Professor David Wilson on This Morning today
Just a thought, but is there any other innocent party, one other innocent party even, for whom there has been so many declarations of innocence by supposed experts in particular matters, wheeled out in front of TV cameras, mostly ITV cameras, at irregular intervals over so many years?
Is it not blatantly obvious?
Still, let them carry on crying 'wolf'......
The truth will out, eventually.

They were photographed and the photo handed to a press agency, who released it on 8 May, as the search for Madeleine continued. Aha! But what if she had been advised how to hold the toy so that experts such as Professor David Wilson would conclude that she was innocent?

Re: Professor David Wilson on This Morning today
The question is why has Prof. Wilson decided to speak now nearly six years on? Also, why has he pitched a resolved case against an unresolved case? He should have found another case where the mother was cleared in court and pitched that against the Matthews case. Or did Kate start the cuddly toy trend?

IMO, yes she may have. And also a "fund" for public donations trend ... And climbing up the tree and be ambassador or something ...
