Amazing video of Alfie the jackdaw working out how to undo a complex cage lock - and escape!

Fantastic! I loved the way Alfie, at 22 seconds, went on to his perch to ring his bell as if to say "Ding Ding Round Two!" clapping

Bird-brained

Post by Tony Bennett on 02.09.12 21:52

Yes - excellent! Sometimes a way of escape seems impossible. But if you keep working at it, you might well find one!

Presumably the word 'bird-brained' means something entirely different in Alfie's case
