HiDeHo, I have just seen a tweet on twitter saying that they told Yvonne Martin that the children were checked every hour I have just checked the witness statement and this is what Yvonne Martin said.............

Using the information that she had obtained on the news, she started by questioning the couple about how often they had checked on the children, obtaining the reply that people went to see them every hour.

There may come a time when I am proved to be wrong but this is the part for me that sits most uncomfortably. I tend to wonder if they did check as often as they would have us believe and hence a fear of the consequences when it went so very wrong for them.

And let's not forget - it wasn't just the McCanns who left their children so if there were to be consequences they might have been far reaching to the other families too.
