The Last Photo was it one of many?
Just been having a google as you do and came across an interesting sentence in an article in the Daily Mail of 25.5.07.
"During the day of her disappearance they had all gone for a walk, played tennis, and taken some more snapshots for the family album before relaxing by the pool."
Interesting then that according to the McCanns' this was one of several photos taken on the 3rd May 2007 yet NO OTHER photos have come to light.
Obviously this article (along with all others about the "last photo") came out after Gerry McCann visited the UK. (he probably needed help getting the photos off his camera).

I have read that the camera(s) were taken away by the police and I believe a lab in the UK found something like 140 deleted images. I think with the right software these can be put together again, which may well have been done. I think about half of those were from PdL.
Re: The Last Photo was it one of many?
You are right I had forgotten.
I have found the reference in the PJ files
"Visualisation and Analysis of Photographs
On this date, I state that the photographs contained on a CD delivered to this police force by Gerald McCann have been visualised and analysed, some of them are from the holiday period that the McCann family spent at the Ocean Club in PdL, beginning on the 28th April 2007.
The visualisation and analysis of these images that was carried out reveals that there are several photographs of interest to the investigation, in which it is possible to visualise Madeleine McCann."

Re: The Last Photo was it one of many?
If he 'delivered them on a CD', it would have allowed him to play with them on the lap top computer ( one of the many things of value that were not stolen !) after he downloaded them from the memory stick.
The statement is dated 9th May. It doesn't say when the CD was handed over.
Why didn't they just take the camera, or the memory stick, and copy it themselves.

And why have they not published the other photographs that must have been taken from that holiday instead of regurgitating old photographs that have no evidential value as Madeleine was already older (when she was "abducted") than when they were taken.

Yes Gillyspot, especially when they know there has been many doubts over the ones that they have.
