I will answer for 'happylarry' as s/he has been banned.rainbow-fairy wrote:Hey happylarry, do those delightful skull pics mean anything?
Yes, what they mean is that this forum is getting closer and closer to the truth and that someone opposed to the truth is working hard to try to disrupt the forum.
It's another reminder of just how many sick types there are supporting the McCanns - ADMIN

Looks like I have missed all the fun of "happylarry"s post. Such a shame as I am sure they were well worth reading (most incisive?)

I have seen one of "happylarry"s pics and the shame is his/her/its posts were not "incisive" or even interesting just moronic but when you are getting close to the truth on an important case I guess!

Unwelcome guests
As a matter of interest, how was Happy Larry able to post his works of art (?) as a guest at 12.59 today when, as I understand it, you have to be a registered member to do so?

Happylarry wasn't a guest when he posted. I deleted his account this morning before I started cleaning up the forum. When an account is deleted the posts remain but the username is changed to 'Guest'.
I should have just left it and deleted the posts rather than the poster. I'll know better next time the trolls arrive in the middle of the night.
In the meantime, I would suggest that pro McCann supporters trawl the lawless hills of PDL to look for Maddie's secret lair. Why aren't they bothering to do that when Dave Edgar has said that's where she is?

As with most other forums, registration is easy.
'happylarry' had previously registered as 'greenwatch' and may well for all I know have re-registered already under another name. There are over 1,300 members here now, and more than likely a handful of them are 'lurkers' who never post and are just here to spy. Indeed, this forum provides about 90% of the material for McCann-believer sites like JATYK which is purely reactive to developments on here.
I always post here bearing in mind that (a) the entire world can read these posts if they want to and (b) that enemies of our campaign for the truth about Madeleine may be visiting the comments to use for their own purposes.
That's why some sensitive discussions are confined to Admin and Mods where we can be sure that unwelcome visitors do not even step inside the door.

Farewell to the trolls
Love the answer Get 'em Goncalo!
Come on trolls, leave your basement lairs for once and do something to find Madeleine if you really think that she is to quote Gerry "a findable little girl".
Thanks also Tony, I have seen Greenwatch's recent efforts.

I think it's the other way round - there are more than 1,000 lurkers/spies/trolls/Carter-Ruck agents and only a handful of us

How are the mighty fallen!

And David defeated Goliath.
As devout Roman Catholics, Drs Gerald and Kate McCann would be familiar with these accounts.
And of course with the account of the young child who died - 2 Samuel Chapter 12 vv 14-31 - the crumpled-up page of Dr Kate McCann's Bible.

Hear hear Marian! All trolls board a plane to PDL. Or the moon, seeing as they would have as much luck finding Maddie up there as in PT, methinks!Marian wrote:Love the answer Get 'em Goncalo!

So blimey, 'happylarry' was greenwatch also? Is this the same greenwatch that yesterday was insinuating on another thread that Tony and Stella were clueless and living on another planet, to paraphrase?
WHY, on the whole, are McCann apologists so aggressive? Reading other sites over last month or so, a certain poster, who's name rhymes with 'hearth' but begins with 'G' springs instantly to mind. A nasty, thuggish meathead who is probably another keyboard monkey on their payroll!

The wonderful world of McCann fans
Rainbow-Fairy, it sounds as if you don't know that the G person was a regular contributor here too - check out the topics "Theory" and "G's theory" for some entertaining reading. He was also RBxHN though he wouldn't admit it.
There seems to be only two types of McCann fans - the aggressive ones whom you mention and the bleeding heart Facebook ones. The latter are more or less harmless, just don't read their postings on a full stomach!

People who are losing an argument very often become aggressive. In logic it is known as the Fallacy of the "Argumentum ad Baculum", the argument with the big stick.
Interestingly the Catholic belief in God is such an argument. "If you do not believe, you will go to Hell, if you do, you may go to Heaven." There is no room for thought, no allowance for other possibilities.
Very similar to the oficial end of this whole case. If you do not believe the McCann's story you will be sued by C-R. There is no room for logical argument, examination of the evidence, or lack of it. You must accept.
see
http://ezinearticles.com/?Conflict-Resolution---Arguments-and-Verbal-Aggression&id=947347
By Ian Glickman Ph.D
It may not come as much of a surprise to learn that some people enjoy arguments. They look forward to them and literally get health benefits from the experience. This is a fact. Others, however, do not like to argue. For these people, an argument is an unpleasant and unhealthy experience, one they often avoid if given an option. But, when arguments are unavoidable, these seemingly more passive types often resort to verbal aggression. That is, they verbally attack the other person's character or fling about other ad hominem remarks.
...DO NOT answer any more of their questions until they answer your question. Once they answer your question, then they can have their turn again. Just continue to nicely remind them that they have not addressed your question and before you continue you would like it addressed. Remember, an argumentative type will usually ignore your questions and continue to ask their own questions. They will use emotion, attitude, and bullying as a response to your simple requests for answers.
those lovely mccann supporters again!
Marian, I did wonder if he had been or was still a regular hence why the cryptic name reference! But you know well who I mean I see! Yes, v v aggressive I think he must be trying to compensate forMarian wrote:Rainbow-Fairy, it sounds as if you don't know that the G person was a regular contributor here too - check out the topics "Theory" and "G's theory" for some entertaining reading. something? Did he end up banned then?
Yes in some ways I think the bleeding heart brigade are worse and so predictable, with their 'Please don't be nasty about the McCanns, they made a mistake and are paying the ultimate price BLAH BLAH BLAH' -
PLEASE don't make me laugh! MADDIE payed the ultimate price, NOT THEM!
I've noticed that in pro McCann posts, Madeleine is rarely if EVER mentioned, it's always 'poor 'Kate and Gerry' - puke!

Yes, Garth and his alter-ego RBxHN have finally left the building. Garth has a blog which I was trying to find again the other day to see if he has mellowed at all. I kept coming up with the name Garth McCann which I thought might explain everything but it turns out to be a character played by Michael Caine in a film!

preachermen?
PETERMAC, I agree with your above post 100%.
I used to have a workmate who was a Jehovah's Witness. If you asked her a question about, say, blood transfusions, her first answer would be 'God says so. It's in the Bible'. If you then probed further and pointed out inconsistencies, she would get upset, then finally announce that 'you will go to hell as you are evil'. I say 'me evil, why?' And the answer was always 'because you aren't a witness, and you don't believe!'
Never mind the fact I'm a good person or owt...
So yes, agreed, definitely!

No, unsurprisingly perhaps, whatever name he goes under there has been no mellowing! I can't think which blog I was reading that he'd posted on but it was the usual - no constructive reasoning WHY he so vehemently supports the 'official line', just insults thrown. I remember one post used the word 'retards' to describe those among us who can actually read evidence and make our own minds up, pots and kettles spring to mind LOL :-)
As for 'Garth McCann' - it wouldn't have surprised or shocked me if he was! (Or even if he turned out to be Gerry McC!!!)

I think that sadly the only chain of office that Garth will ever wear round his neck is one attached to a toilet cistern!
