Carter Ruck has been through the manuscript

@Gillyspot wrote:Interesting bit in the Daily Express in April (when funds were low).

"The book has been painstakingly produced. Kate has spoken widely to friends and family to make sure her recollection of events is precise. Emma Loach, the daughter of the film-maker Ken Loach, has also become a close friend and adviser. She has made two television documentaries about the McCanns, and is a regular visitor to the McCanns’ home in Rothley in Leicestershire.
There has also been input from the Tapas Seven, the group of friends on holiday with the McCanns when Madeleine was abducted on the evening of May 3, 2007. They were dining with the McCanns when Madeleine vanished and have stayed loyal throughout.
The libel law firm Carter Ruck has been through the manuscript. Friends and acquaintances suggest that Kate will “want to settle scores” – particularly with the Portuguese police, who investigated the disappearance and became convinced, wrongly, the child’s parents were involved.
“She does not forgive what they put her through,” says one friend. “Kate is a strong woman and she knows what is right and what is wrong.”"

So Carter Ruck allowed Kate's libel about the PJ to go to print.

Carter Ruck allowed Kate's lies, discrepancies and vile reference to her daughter's private parts being torn apart to go to print, even though Kate made it clear she wanted Madeleine and the twins and the 'paedophile abductor' to read it.

Just what sort of outfit is Carter Ruck?

Carter-Ruck as manuscript checkers

What sort of outfit is C R? The type of firm as mentioned somewhere else that knows a long-term source of income when it sees one. I wonder if any extracts were removed from the book at their suggestion - if so, goodness knows how bad they must have been when you consider what was left in!

Blood and cadaver alerts
dismissed by UK Government

Retired DCI Gonçalo Amaral: "The English can always present the conclusions to which they themselves arrived in 2007. Because they know, they have the evidence of what happened - they don't need to investigate anything. All this is now a mere 'show off'."

Retired murder DCI Colin Sutton: "I would also like to make the point that Operation Grange was so restricted from the start as to be destined to fail."

Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley made public on national TV that Operation Grange is a complete fraud.

Ex-DCI Andy Redwood had a "revelation moment" on BBC's Crimewatch on 14th October 2013 when he announced that Operation Grange had eliminated the Tanner sighting - which opened up the 'window of opportunity', in accordance with their remit, to allow the fake abduction to happen.

Despite "irrelevant behaviour" from blood and cadaver dogs in the McCann's apartment, on Kate McCann's clothes, and in the car they hired three weeks after Maddie disappeared, Ex-Chief Inspector, Ian Horrocks, said: "The thought that Kate and Gerry McCann had anything to do with the death of their daughter is frankly preposterous."

Gerry McCann called for example to be made of 'trolls'. SKY News reporter Martin Brunt doorstepped Brenda Leyland on 2 October 2014. She was then found dead in a Leicester hotel room. Brenda paid the price. She paid with her life.

Ex-Deputy Chief Constable, Jim Gamble QPM, congratulated SKY reporter, Martin Brunt, on twitter for doorstepping Brenda Leyland on behalf of Gerry McCann.
