How much can Cameron be trusted?

Post by juliet on 23.06.11 21:17

I understand that Clarence Mitchell has a job with the PR firm owned by Matthew Freud.

David Cameron counts Freud among his mates. He often has dinner with Freud, Freud's wife Elisabeth Murdoch (daughter of Rupert Murdoch owner of Sunday Times and Sun) and Rebekah Brooks (Murdoch's chief executive).

The Sun in particular crawls to the McCanns and has just given Kate McCann millions for extracts of her book.

All too close for comfort, IMO. Has Cameron already agreed a whitewash?

I don't know to be honest I wish I could but doubt any review will be honest particulary as it is in response to the Mccanns request. If as we believe they are implicated then why would they want an unbiased look at all of the evidence?

Also remember Esther McVey (a Coservative MP) is a childhood friend of Kate Mccann.

I also think that the Civil Service will not help with a transparent enquiry with their connections with Clarence Mitchell (as I am sure he is still quite influential).

How much can Cameron be trusted?

Esther McVey seemed to drop the McCanns like hot coals some years ago.
I think she has removed all reference to them from all her websites, blogs, CV etc. Interesting.

As for Matthew Freud, he has fingers in all sorts of pies, and of course Cameron owes the Murdochs a lot - Rupert Murdoch backed him for the election.

The truth doesn't seem to matter to these people.

They only care about how they can use and manipulate people - to their own advantage.

That could unfortunately be true of all politicians and certainly the Mccann's (NO EVIDENCE).

We can live in hope but I as I said on twitter a couple of days ago I will eat my hat (and it is a big one) if there is a transparent, unbiased review taking full note of all the evidence. (not actual words of course as only had 140 characters lol).

How Much Can Cameron Be Trusted

Post by juliet on 23.06.11 23:16

What's sickening is the idea of Clarence Mitchell and Matthew Freud spinning and twisting in the background.

If only we could believe Cameron had enough integrity to seek the truth whatever the result.

Fingers crossed and a lucky heather under the pillow, possibly a four leaved clover and the wind in the right direction maybe (I think they will be required unfortunately)! Hopefully perhaps a lot of people (like me) have written to their local MP to ask that the review is impartial and transparent and that whatever they find they will reveal the truth and justice will be served for Madeleine and all the people who have donated to the fund (and those who have in turn been sued by that same fund as well).

All in the name of a poor innocent little girl!

I don't think he can be trusted at all not one inch!

He will behave just like all the McCanns "friends". He wouldn't risk his own career by exposing the McCanns to any possible prosecution. The reason they are smiling is they have heard they are home free!

He can be trusted, by team mccann and co.. I have a gut feeling it will be a mickey mouse review maybe throw in a few innocent sightings, but the main object is to clear mcscumms names. That will be hard to do. But try they will

Clearing their names is of the upmost importance to them. I live karma

How much can Cameron be trusted?

Post by juliet on 24.06.11 19:15

Today's Daily Mail, page 19, talks about "slippery PR man" Matthew Freud and how close he is to Cameron's crony (and Chancellor) George Osborne.

The snippet says Osborne is obsessed with News International so "keeping in with the ghastly Freud....is part of that."

It wouldn't matter except that Freud employs Clarence Mitchell, who is also employed by the McCanns.

How can anyone hope that Cameron won't kill any adverse McCann investigation reports, if Freud (and Murdoch) tell him to?

Is Matthew Freud the son (or other relative) of Sir Clement Freud?

The McCanns met Sir Clement in PDL when he invited them to lunch with a note saying he was concerned about the media intrusion into their lives. They became friends and on p.234 he gave Kate 'her first ever brandy.'

It does seem as though all these people have far too much contact with each other. It exposes what is going on in reality, it's a network. How on earth could anyone think that our Government such as it is will be impartial.

I agree. How can any government (past or present) be impartial when so many of their members are involved in very sinister activities? Apologies if this list has been posted before: MP’s - Is Any Child Safe?

How much can Cameron be trusted?

In view of his reply in record time to the McCanns and the contents thereof (see "the McCanns write to David Cameron") I think we can safely say that the answer is NOT A LOT!

Perhaps at the next election we should all set up a "Truth for Madeleine" party. Mind it would get no media coverage sad

Is Cameron to be trusted?

Post by juliet on 03.07.11 19:56

Read through a political blog, I was reminded that the slippery Clarence Mitchell was taken on by Cameron to monitor media relations (or something like that) during the election.

Is Mitchell still employed by the Tories?

Probably. He's very good at hanging on to jobs, as he seems to be still paid by the McCanns and Matthew Freud.

The blog is by The Slog. I found it today and it's very interesting about political manoeuvres featuring Gordon Brown.

Daisy

I knew that the prevalence of this behaviour was in every sphere including Government. It does appear that the more influence they have in the community seems to encourage this sort of activity. Very sad to think they could abuse their positions. There are so many layers to the system of government with different organisations being involved it facilitates the abuse IMO.
