Madeleine tops charts again as Bond misses number one


For the third consecutive week, Kate McCann's Madeleine (Bantam Press) was the bestselling book in the UK, with Martina Cole's The Family (Headline) once again the second most popular purchase. The books sold 30,895 and 30,156 copies respectively at UK booksellers

its been very quiet with almost no news on the mccanns
i hope its the calm before a big storm

I was thinking that yesterday Rosa ... they seem to have suddenly shut up. I can't help but wonder if they've just realised that the book which is selling so well is very much an own goal big grin

Battle of the works of fiction

It won't be long before the McCanns need their next attention-seeking fix and they will be back in the headlines. It will need to be something really good to outshine the book but they have plenty of practice now in organising publicity stunts.
