Kidnap Shannon’s mum gags The Sun

By JOHN KAY

Published: Today

THE injunctions farce plumbed new depths yesterday as The Sun was gagged from publishing a story about evil kidnap mum Karen Matthews.

A High Court hearing in Leeds banned us on privacy grounds from printing an article which had been completely substantiated - and there were no complaints about its accuracy.

The newspaper was "commended" by the judge, Mr Justice Moylan, for acting "responsibly" by approaching authorities in advance of publication.

But although the story was in the public interest, the judge ordered a total ban.

Lawyers for Matthews, jailed in 2009 for kidnapping her daughter Shannon, urged the judge to impose the gag, even though they did not contest the truth of our proposed report.

Shannon, nine at the time, was missing for 24 days and was then found at a house belonging to Michael Donovan, an uncle of Matthews' lover Craig Meehan.

Matthews, 35, of Dewsbury, West Yorks, and Donovan faked a kidnap in a bid for a £50,000 reward.

She has six other children by various fathers and is expected to be freed next year.

I'm not surprised to hear this and I bet Carter Ruck are involved in it, in some way. Karen could not have had the money to arrange a superinjunction, so who paid for it to happen??

The last thing they needed at that time was people associating this with the McCann's.

This quote from the link in my above post Stella

http://www.newsmediaimages.com/celebrity-article-24672-wiki-junction-kidnap-mother-karen-mathews-wins-gagging-order/

[quote]

The super-injunction was granted at Leeds High court yesterday. The judge banned publication of a story that a tabloid (The Sun) were about to publish, despite the judge accepting the story was entirely true. Lawyers for Matthews urged the judge to impose the gag but at no stage did they contest the truth of the proposed publication.

A super-injunction costs anything from £50k to a Ryan Giggs limitless. So please somebody explain who paid Mathews lawyers? Yes I know I know.

Here’s some fun times for you. Try and guess what Karen’s gagged story is.

These are my ‘guesses’.

A.) Mathews will never be allowed near children again.

B.) Mathews is at the centre of a child pornography business.

C.) Mathews has been offering to sell ‘her story’ for a large amount of money.

D.) Mathews won a large amount of money which she’s already invested in a children’s home and a video camera.

E.) It’s much much worse so it’s none of the above.

I Paid for it, along with every other UK taxpayer. The Human Rights Act is being perverted to put money in the pockets of the pathetic Legal Proffesion.

Mathews was inspired by the Madeleine McCann disappearance for whom newspapers had offered a £1m reward for information leading to her recovery.

This won't be the last time someone 'does a McCann'. The McCanns have shown the world how to get away with murder neglect and possibly other crimes like asking the public to donate money to them which they used to pay their mortgage.

Unfortunately for Karen Matthews it only works for friends of Prime Ministers which is why she is rotting in jail while the McCann's have become celebrities who sit on world famous couches like Oprah's and Piers Morgan's and get paid heaps of money to peddle their lies.

At least Karen Matthews had the good manners not to smile about the 'loss' of her daughter.

She played the part of a grieving mother more convincingly than Kate, not that's saying much of course.

I suspect that too.

Whatever they do "doing a McCann will be in the vocabulary for many years to come.

Blood and cadaver alerts
dismissed by UK Government

Retired DCI Gonçalo Amaral: "The English can always present the conclusions to which they themselves arrived in 2007. Because they know, they have the evidence of what happened - they don't need to investigate anything. All this is now a mere 'show off'."

Retired murder DCI Colin Sutton: "I would also like to make the point that Operation Grange was so restricted from the start as to be destined to fail."

Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley made public on national TV that Operation Grange is a complete fraud.

Ex-DCI Andy Redwood had a "revelation moment" on BBC's Crimewatch on 14th October 2013 when he announced that Operation Grange had eliminated the Tanner sighting - which opened up the 'window of opportunity', in accordance with their remit, to allow the fake abduction to happen.

Despite "irrelevant behaviour" from blood and cadaver dogs in the McCann's apartment, on Kate McCann's clothes, and in the car they hired three weeks after Maddie disappeared, Ex-Chief Inspector, Ian Horrocks, said: "The thought that Kate and Gerry McCann had anything to do with the death of their daughter is frankly preposterous."

Gerry McCann called for example to be made of 'trolls'. SKY News reporter Martin Brunt doorstepped Brenda Leyland on 2 October 2014. She was then found dead in a Leicester hotel room. Brenda paid the price. She paid with her life.

Ex-Deputy Chief Constable, Jim Gamble QPM, congratulated SKY reporter, Martin Brunt, on twitter for doorstepping Brenda Leyland on behalf of Gerry McCann.
