They were photographed and the photo handed to a press agency, who released it on 8 May, as the search for Madeleine continued. The McCanns held up these same pyjamas at two press conferences on 5 & 7June 2007. How could Madeleine have been abducted?"

Has Courageous Kate ever said "never leave your children unattended"?
That would certainly reduce the risk of children going missing.
Really weird world we live in.

Hi Tony. Thanks for posting.
Does anyone know if the details of the three children who have been found is on Missing Peoples website?
I never visit the site, but would be interesting to see if details of all those who are found will be listed.

Isn't 56 year old bikini wearing Kelly an ambassador for Missing People? I wonder if she will ask Mrs. Ambassador to sit on the sofa asap to give the public details.
What great publicity that would be and might even encourage more people to download the song.

Missing child > > > group of people chanting > > > missing child no longer missing? How exactly does that work I wonder?
The article again written by good old die-hard Antonella Lazzeri, fingers always itching for the next McCann exclusive, prominently features images of Kate McCann and Madeleine - why not a feature on the three missing children that are apparently no longer missing, thanks to the Missing People Choir? The McCanns and associated groupies did their fair share of chanting when Madeleine disappeared (and still do to this day), look what good it did them.
Still, tis bank holiday Monday - perhaps the Sun thinks people have nothing better to do than fawn over the continuing McCann story.

On Wednesday 25th May 2016, on The Wright Stuff show, Jo Youle, CEO of Missing people charidy said, 'there are 160,000 incidents of UK children going missing every year'
On MP website they state '140,000' incidents of 'UK children going missing a year'
She's 'added' 20,000 'phantom' 'missing' children, as compared, to her own 'official' MP website 'figures'! (ala 'Kids Company'? '36,000')
Does she get 'paid' per 'missing' child??????????
What she dosen't 'tell you, is that if one child goes 'missing' 32 times a year (runs away from childrens home, council homes, foster homes etc.,) MP 'register' that one child, and 'counts' that one child, 32 times, in their 'missing children' 'statistics'!
A 'scam is a scam is a scam'!

From MPS disclosures w/e 24th April 2016:
Freedom of Information Request Reference No:
I note you seek access to the following information:
How many children (under 18) are reported missing for 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014?
DECISION
I have today decided to disclose the located information to you in full. Please find attached information pursuant to your request above.
Information Rights Unit
Year
2011 2012 2013 2014 Grand Total
Missing
13839 12178 11581 11770 49368
Above are the volume of missing for the years shown.
Please note that many of these will be reported missing more than once.
http://www.met.police.uk/foi/pdfs/disclosure_2016/april_2016/2016030000067.pdf
………………………………………………
Obviously for Met Police area only, but there was a report in one of the papers in the last week or so with one particular kid having been reported 137 times, so more than twice a week, every week.
Pretty rough estimate but:
Met Police area population 7.4m
UK population 65m
If the 2014 MPS figures are multiplied up pro-rata we should be looking at something like 103k.
Obviously more people must go missing from outside London than those already there. Really?
Long way to go to get to MP’s 140k or JY’s 160k, but they desperately need your money to pay their (and her) salaries and expenses!!!!!!!

Such a huge disparity between the professed desire of Kate Mccann to see Madeleine again and her behaviour when Madeleine went missing. The hours and days after she went missing, and her complete refusal to cooperate with the police.
One would almost think she DIDN'T want to see her again. All she had to do was answer all questions put to her truthfully, not disturb the crime scene and the chances of finding Madeleine would have increased one hundred fold. She's not a stupid person, surely she realises that?

Exactly nglfi, Gerry McCann endlessly cited cases of young girls abducted by monstrous paedophiles and kept locked up and abused for years, and Kate described an horrific image she allegedly has of Madeleine in her book, in yet 'courageous Kate' refused to answer 48 police questions even though she was warned it could affect finding Maddie, and the pair of them gave a whole slew of excuses why they can't/won't attend a reconstruction that would have gone all around the world, and could have saved their child's life.nglfi wrote:Such a huge disparity between the professed desire of Kate Mccann to see Madeleine again and her behaviour when Madeleine went missing. There's an estimated 11 million children under 18 in the UK, so 11,000,000 / 160,000 = 1 in 69 kids go 'missing' every year.jeanmonroe wrote:On Wednesday 25th May 2016, on The Wright Stuff show, Jo Youle, CEO of Missing people charidy said, 'there are 160,000 incidents of UK children going missing every year'
That seems like a lot of kids going missing if you ask me, you'd think we'd all know someone who lives near us that's 'missing' if it's only 1 in 69.
I've never heard of anyone going missing in any of the areas I've lived in, so I'm surprised at these numbers. If so many are supposedly missing, why are the Mccanns getting all the money from the government?

I wonder how they define missing in terms of statistics - absent from school - didn't turn up for doctors/dentist appointment - stop off at a mates on the way home from school - gone walkabouts - not outside the school gate dead on 4:30pm? I jest not. It seems to me that responsibility for a child's welfare has been largely taken away from the parent/guardian and handed over to just about every establishment directly or indirectly concerned with the daily life of a child.
As I said recently, these sort of statistics are meaningless - invariably kneaded to suit the desired outcome I shouldn't wonder. Especially a registered charity that wishes to create an impression.

So Kate wants the public to download this track. playing on public sympathy to force it, unfairly, to no.1?
If it reaches no.1, what a great advert that'll be for Missing People charity - that should bring in some cash to fund the salaries of those running the charity.
Even better, The Sun gets a good story out of this too.
Someone asked earlier if Kate was paid as ambassador - I bet she gets a good return from the Sun for the sale of her stories and this article seems to back up Rebekah Brooks statement yet again "We are all in this together". This time its Kate, The Sun and Missing People
Thanks Kate - now I have a song stuck in my head

Just found this on the missing people website
Public figures
Patrons, Ambassadors and Family Representatives of Missing People are all volunteers. The expectations of people who represent the charity are considered carefully by Directors, Trustees and the individual prior to their appointment. Family Representatives are self-appointed following discussion with the charity.
The Board of Trustees are all volunteers recruited to provide governance and strategic oversight to Missing People. They ensure the Executive team work to meet the charity's Vision and charitable Aims.
Volunteers in all roles receive no payment for their time. Reasonable travel costs are of course offered.

I was just having a look on the missing people website (like you do) and decided to have a look and see how many people were missing from the different areas. Started off in London 58 people missing, but the curious thing is that most of them, with the exception of maybe 2 or 3 look like they are all foreign nationals. If you continue down the other areas, with the odd exception, most of them are foreign nationals. Who is to say they just haven't decided to go back to their country of origin, or absconded to a different part of the country, so not missing at all. Very hard to prove though, and they know it! http://www.missingpeople.org.uk/help-us-find/category/in-the-west-midlands.html?jform[name]=&jform[area]=19&jform[since]=&jform[agerange]=child&jform[gender]=

A very serious question. Of all the children's charities - hospitals - hospices - community groups - volunteers etc etc, why does Kate McCann devote her time to a charity for 'missing people'. Not a dedicated charity for children but a charity for missing people generally?
Could it be something to do with the management of the charity?

Her daughter does - she is an advert for it.
In 2006/7 the charity was in financial difficulty, it needed a boost, a new beginning (from Wiki, Iirc). It seems to me that Kate and her "missing" child saved the day.
And by co-incidence, News international were suffering at the same time.

Was it News International who reportedly gave the whole of the thousands of pounds reward money to the Find Maddie Fund when it closed down one of their newspapers?
