Thanks I haven't seen this message before but I will keep my eye out and please don't say I'm angry at him I've always been polite but I take exception when someone is rude to me and also when I get accused of lying whether it be directly from him or somebody supporting him.

I showed examples of how I was not rude and mentioned the first words to him were 'nice to meet you' so the lies have obviously been believed instead of the truth and that's what I get upset about..

What I see, looks like anger, if you say its not anger then so be it. I was merely making sure you felt free to feel whatever you feel, even if you accept the offer of the book. No strings was the main crux of my comment

At this point, Bernt would send it anyway (there is a teddy bear hiding in the growling Viking)
It is me, I who is insisting on a yay to proceed. Not a big ask is it?
And I have to say I am feeling really disappointed right now. Bernt is taking it in his stride.

Will you not even show any respect for the time I spent persuading Bernt, or the time I spent drafting the initial comment, or the time I’ve spent chasing it up and begging for a response?
Does this effort really mean so very little to you?
So when you kept complaining about the book not arriving, was I wrong to assume you might be interested in a solution?
Once the offer has expired, please don’t say you would have…but…
At that point, you will have to accept that you did indeed actively turn this very generous offer down.
Incidentally, I am busy with Maddie related stuff too that has been put on hold to an extent for this.

If Lizzy was that bothered about reading Bernts book, she would have answered by now. She is quite happy doing her own thing and going over old ground. She has evaded your question over Bernts book and there's your answer..nay.

I agree Jojo1 I’m now just making sure there’s no loopholes, even teeny ones, like, “didnt see it”, “it was the time zone difference” etc.
once I close this door thats it. After that, I will rage if Lizzy ever mentions not getting the book again. Ever!
I am embarrassed for her, its shocking that she has been able to evade something like this and instead focus on relatively insignificant side issues.
She could have selected “yay” many times in the time it took to complain about Jill calling her rude.
I’m not naive, I know realistically its a nay. Just making sure all them darned loopholes are shut tight.

I'm sure you have covered all your bases Green Tara. You tried and tried.
If she really wanted to read it she would have done it by now on digital format and picked up a pen and made notes ( she is good at that) Those post it notes and highlighter pens will be getting used anyway and possibly a repeated Amazon purchase for her lists and charts.
