Maybe the new witness was blackmailed by the McCanns and Co. and lived in fear. But now this person has the courage to come forward.

The lady/employee from the OC lived near the church. She is the wrong witness. Kate and Gerry thought she was the right one. But the right witness lived near the Apartment 5A/OC and saw Gerry carrying a black (trash) bag on Thursday at 2 am in the morning (Maddie died at Wednesday night, before midnight).

So i was right that someone saw Gerry with a black bag.
The witness in the church area was 2 days later. She saw someone with a black bag there.

It was better than I had anticipated and it deffo provided another potential piece of the jigsaw,  I wonder who the BBC employees are/were 
Personally I dislike Mitchell, I’ll never for get the shiver down the spine I got from watching him in episode 5 of McCann’s and the media there was something about him that to me gave the allusion of being threatening

How many heavy duty black bin bags are to be found in a holiday apartment?

For a family of 5 staying for a week, with many neighbouring friends, maybe the cleaner put a whole new roll of bags in the kitchen cupboard.

I don't think she was in bin bags alone - more like a suit bag inside a bin bag possibly - especially as he was carrying her over his shoulder with both hands...surely she'd have just fallen out the bottom of bin bags if he didn't have one hand underneath to support her.

It’s not the first time I’ve been on my hols and the maintenance utility cupboard has been left open!

Being medics I recon they may have been trained in emergency disaster situations and what products could be used as an alternative, for all we know they could have used clingfilm + a spare black bin bag from the 4 apartments they may have had access to

Yesterday, PeterMac gave us a hint with the picture of Bernt and a bag infront of Apartment 5A.  I thought of Gerry and his bag and I remembered that video of Kate and the witness in the church area. So I was on the right track.
I hope Bernt will release the documentary soon. Maybe on Netflix or Amazon Prime, both have big True Crime documentaries. We will see.

If this was indeed Madeleine being moved after having been dead for a few hours then rigor mortis would have set in so if found at this stage it would be difficult to hide her in a tennis bag. So her sweet self would have to be concealed in plastic which is what would be at hand. I agree there would have been a roll of bags in a kitchen drawer or cupboard and more than a couple would be needed.
I am surprised though that it was at this time. I would have expected it to be the ''grave yard hour which is between 3 and 4am. This is the hour when all who are not working will be sound asleep. Party goers have gone home or sofa surfed where the party was. The streets will be deserted. They had to balance cadaverine scent though so had to do what had to be dome pdq.
This lady witness though appeared to be returning home from work and the split second of almost crossing paths was destined to happen.
I wonder of Gerry saw her but was forced to push on as he just had to move a body.

Yes, no illusion at all. Mitchell Is extremely disturbing to me. He is a total manipulator and I couldn't possibly diagnose him as a vicious sociopath 

Anyway, I personally found the interview a bit underwhelming. Apart from the new witness statement (which is not at all official and also completely anonymous...) there was just a long time repeating more or less what was said in the last interview.

I hope it provokes more interest and maybe more pressure on some people to come forward so on that count it is great. Despite me finding him a bit annoying, Bernt is doing something which may well be very useful and encouraging, so well done!
