Imo on Wednesday evening after parents left. No notice because they only listen and silence=all fine for them. Furthermore they're focused on each other because of the quiz lady. Discovery when they wake up next morning, the "core issue" imo.

I agree with that. Madeleine was laying dead for many hours as they came home the worse for wear, probably in a real huff with each other and only a listening check done at best even if at all. Maybe a visual check early daylight hours when a bathroom visit was needed and it was discovered that Madeleine wasn't in her bed.

There's no evidence that G watched footy on Wed, but Jane said K said he likely was doing it on Thur.
The Quiz night was on Tue but had effects the following day.

That was the night that Kate admitted in her book that the times between checks or check was longer being around 45 minutes ( the length of time for a first half or second half of a footy match) she also said it was the only night they sat inside the tapas bar she was relieved because it was warmer there

I’m more inclined to think the British govt would rather the British Public assumed that if Joe Public thinks cover up it was about saving the reputation of the NHS rather than what potentially could be

The cover up is more than the protection of the reputation of the NHS/UK and it's worldwide. It's a protection of the national security. But why? (human trafficking?)
