I think we went some way to mending fences in our last few emails. But I won't push it. He knows where I am if he wishes. But I will leave it there, step back, and just let him and Peter get on with it. There's still much to do, but Bernt said in his interview that new evidence has now been submitted to the PJ.
I will continue to allow posts with reference to The Brick, and civil debate, here on CMOMM.
In this sub-forum CMOMM references all the letters sent to the Establishment over the years so I'm hoping some new stuff will go in there at some point

*Sigh* something has to give soon, doesn't it?

Re: Bernt Stellander interview
Yes, it would. Refusing to acknowledge the book, rather than indignantly refuting it would certainly help the pro McCann faction. I think Kate and Gerry McCann have realised that they merely draw attention to themselves when they try to bluster their way out of anything. It's possible, though, that they could be pushed a bit too far, and come up with a reaction.AnneCGuedes wrote:Wouldn't it be more efficient to just keep on ignoring the issue ?

JB2024 wrote:Yes I agree on thr sentiment that it was likely only the tip of the iceberg on the new witness statement that was revealed on JE2. BS mentioned that this witness also mentioned the football that was on that night. I wasn't able to connect the dots on why this was mentioned. Was this just a hint from BS that there is more to come? Or did I miss connecting the dots on something here. If anyone can connect the dots on this football point that'd be appreciated.
Apparently Kate remarked to Jane, Gerry was a long time doing his 9pm check and was probably watching the football.
When Jane went to do her check at 9-10, she said Gerry was on the street talking to Jez Wilkins, she just walked past them without being seen by either of them.
Bernt found out that the football was in fact not on that night but was on the night before.
One of the clues pointing out that Madeleine disappeared on the 2nd and not the 3rd as there was no football on the 3rd.
I hope that makes sense.

Any 'not usual' behaviour in any crime is an item for investigation.

The only night there was liquor involved! I wonder if vodka was one of the liquors consumed or potentially used for another function?Bluebagthepirate wrote:And the out of routine drinks at the bar on Wednesday whilst things were potentially being fixed in 5A.

"Our last complete happy day"
The “complete” fits with death just before midnight.
I still believe the “accident” did not occur witihin the apartment but that the death, preceded by interventions, did.

That's true Pinkgladioli, and the the McCann's advisor's will be telling them to keep quiet. But they ignored advice about advertising Madeleine's coloboma.I t must be very difficult for them not to defend themselves.pinkgladioli wrote:No reaction can also be a reaction!JB2024 wrote:Yes, right I didn't think about that. Can I ask why you think the 'accident' did not occur within the apartment, and where you think it may have happened?Milo wrote:#402

If it did not occur within the apartment, why do you think they would try to resuscitate her behind the sofa?

I think you are correct. Though drying as in mumification could have been burying in sand which there was plenty of.CaKeLoveR wrote:Should 'drying inside vehicles'... ' read 'dying inside vehicles'?

Re: Bernt Stellander interview
I read Amaral’s book as soon as it became available. It was only recently that I developed a theory in conflict with his that stated Madeleine died in the apartment as a result of an accident in the apartment. I believe the accident occurred elsewhere, she died in the apartment after extreme life-saving interventions, and then her parents concealed her body (as per Amaral’s conclusion).
I will descriibe my theory some time when I am sharp enough. Remember, I got a real serve from Verdi about my theory on the Lolita photo. Not putting my head above the parapet yet.
The forensic evidence (check it out in Amaral’s book) includes blood splatters and splatters of another bodily fluid on the walls of the living room behind the sofa (the sofa and Madeleine were moved in conjinction with each other). The pattern of the splatters is interesting. Bodily fluid could have been from lungs/chest or brain/spinal cord.
As far as I know, there has been no investigation into any cause of “accidental death” beyond falling from a sofa, windowsill, stone stairs to apartment.
What would help me tremendously woud be answers to some apparently useless questions of this ilk:
What were Kate and the twins (particulalry Sean) wearing on Wednesday?
Where was Kate when she said she had been “hanging about” on Thursday or was it Wednesday?
And there is lots of information on the creche roster to mine (thanks to HdH, all of which is relevant to my theory - or should I just call it my hyopthesis?
After listening to and reading Bernt, I have to go back and cross-check. Very stimulating!

There was football on the 3rd, UEFA Cup semi-finals, Sevilla-Osasuna.
